Have you ever been to Korea?

The only places that I ever really wanted to visit were in North America or some island somewhere. I've thought about Africa, but I don't think I would want to stay there very long. One thing that I always wondered about Korea, especially after seeing the new Karate Kid, is how do Koreans regard/treat black/african american visitors. Yeah, you always hear about soldiers, back in the day, slept with Korean women and some of them made babies. But, I wonder how a black tourist would enjoy his stay. I have heard that in France they aren't that receptive to black peoples. Again, these are just things that I've heard. I have no actual first hand knowledge.
