Some people say that it is inheritance to start using glasses at early stages of life. They say before the older age, the eyes will be completely gone beyond repair and without glasses, one cannot see. They said that scientifically it has been proven that eye defects can be managed at early ages to some extent instead of using glasses and cause permanent damage to the eye.

I can only imagine people wearing glasses only if they need to, as I would think using glasses when it is not necessary would damage the eyes as well as why would we over strain our eyes with the strength of any glasses if it is not necessary.
However if they are necessary it is important to use them as the eyes tend to over strain when the need for glasses and not using them weakens them more. I do not use glasses but if I needed them I would certainly use them as when we get older they tend to get weaker and not having taken care of this while earlier I can imagine having a great deal of problems when later in life.

I use glasses since I was 11 years old on 6th grade. I recommend use glasses since you were child before it's too late. I was hiding my eyes farsighted for 5 years and when I started using glasses it has already power negative 6. I imagine if I use glasses earlier it would not end up like this.

Are you talking about people who have bad eyesight at birth and need glasses to correct it or people who, as they are getting older, have progressively worse eyesight and eventually need glasses? Because I think I started wearing glasses pretty darn early in life. I was THREE. And in preschool. The other kids called me glasses girl and they wouldn't let me swing on the swings with them.
I got contacts when I was thirteen and I haven't looked back since. Was it better regarding my eyesight? I don't know. I think my eyesight did get better with time but I don't remember how I saw when I was three. It wasn't great for my self-esteem but I got over that.

Well if a doctor tells you that you should wear glasses, its a good idea to wear glasses. Of course, if something might have happened, that time has long passed for me. Of course, its just really much to do about nothing. We did not know all of the things that we know now, during my children. So it is really a bit silly to think about what might have been right now. I'll just stick with my glasses. My eyes have not gotten any worse, so that's got to be a good thing.
