Since when nightmare is beautiful?

That's the point of the song, it doesn't matter what she sings about, she could sing a recipe for cookies and people would buy it for the music. The only reason you know the words is because its been repeated about a million times and they just get tattooed on your brain. Beautiful Nightmare is just a song, don't put too much stock into a play on words.

On it's own a nightmare can't be beautiful... a beautiful nightmare is an oxymoron of sorts I guess. However it is possible to make a nightmare into a good dream if you are having a lucid dream... if you're aware that you're in a dream I think it's possible to change it so in theory you could turn it into a "beautiful nightmare", lol.

Yeah, nightmare is an awful dream that we would encounter all kind of undesirable and dreadful experience. I also wonder why there is a word "beautiful" placing before nightmare in the mentioned lyric. Or might be she feels happy and satisfied to see the person she loves deeply together with her though it's a nightmare Have a nice day

hi syoti nightmares are not beautiful so do not know what the meaning of that is but probably is used to catch one's attention.I doubt that anyone can figure this out so just sing and dance and enjoy.

Hiya syoti, Nothing wrong with her Song in particular. But a Nightmare can seem so real while you are having it. I only have a bad dream now every so often but before when I was very small I did have Nightmares a few times too very scary but then they vanished as quick as they came. Beautiful Nightmare it´s just a Title that´s all catchy but nothing more only to attract attention.

IN the dreams, u saw some cruel punishments meted on them, which u can't bring yourself to do it in real. SO isn't that a beautiful nightmare because u can get back at them, though it's scary too.. haha

Nightmares are hair raising experiences, yes. But they are also extreme drama to make us take notice. Nightmares can be beautiful. It is all in the way in which you interpret the dream. Dreams are complex at best. You just have to put your best romantic foot forward and look at it as a pro not a con.

Hi syoti! I love that song "Beautiful Nightmare" by Beyonce! I have had her "I am Sasha Fierce" album since it came out last year! It is a beautiful song and not scary nightmarish at all. I really think she means more of a "beautiful dream", but maybe a bit of a "bad" or "naughty" dream, not evil dream! I am a huge Beyonce fan and I listen to her musice very carefully~ I Am.... is one of her best albums yet!

The nightmare is not beautiful but since it is very scary. It is always imagination the most hated things are seen in a beautiful way. It lies in the way people see the world. The worst thing is beautiful when you have a good imagination. So always think in a positive way and nightmares can be beautiful.

Maybe there is a problem with the language barrier, but you have you take the lyrics of the entire song into account. You can't just pick out a word and wonder why it's there because it's the context that gives it meaning. The song is about being in a love that seems too perfect, everything is too right and too beautiful that it could really just be a nightmare waiting to happen. However the point of the song is that she doesn't care, as long as she's with him she is going to enjoy it, no matter what happens in the end.

Never listened to Beyonce, but nightmares cannot be beautiful. Dreams can.
