Do you still use the mouse and keyboard that came with your PC?

Mine came with a small keyboard and a mouse that had no scroll wheel, felt upgrade was almost necessary. Ended up getting a wireless mouse/keyboard combo. But quickly gave up on the keyboard as it would lag. Got a solid wired keyboard from a friend, nothing special but it's got all the keys I would want with nice spacing. The wireless mouse still is going good a year plus. So did you stick with what you got, til they were ruined? or did you upgrade immediately, or already have ones bought to use?

The keyboard and mouse that are supplied new are usually the very cheapest available even if the box and monitor cost thousands! I can never work this out as the keyboard, especially, is your main connection with the PC and should be of the best quality. When I make up a PC for a client I supply a Microsoft or Logitech keyboard and an optical mouse. I also go for wired kit as I find it hard to justify wifi stuff unless the box is positioned a log way away. But then who does that? You still need to see the monitor! haha I often get calls from clients saying their keyboard or mouse has stopped working. When they say it is wifi kit then often replacing the battery does the trick. Battery? they say. What battery? haha

I use a laptop most of the time, so I do use the keyboard/mouse. I also use a desktop computer at times though, and I do not use the keyboard/mouse that came with the system. I use a wireless keyboard and mouse with the desktop computer.

Well, when I moved in with my now fiancé, I had a really old computer but a pretty new wireless keyboard and mouse. We decided to share his computer, so we transferred the contents of my hard drive to his and replaced his gigantic wired keyboard and mouse for my much sleeker models. After about 9 months, my Honey decided that he didn't like my keyboard and mouse because he didn't like having to change the batteries "all the friggin' time" (I cleaned that up) To him all the time was every couple of months or so. Anyway, last August he decided he didn't want me using his computer at all because I'm download crazy (especially toolbars and yes, I've heard the horror stories related to toolbars and spyware)and I was using up all of his hard drive. (he said all but really it was about half of his 300 gigs)So, he bought me a gorgeous red laptop, and I bought a cute little red wireless mouse for it. The problem with that was, it ate up batteries like a real mouse eats up cheese. I needed to change those suckers every 2 or 3 days! A few weeks ago I bought another little mouse that comes on a bungee type cord. A teeeeeeeny tiny little red and black number. It is the cutest little thing I've ever seen and it goes even better with the laptop as it's red on the outside, but when you open it up it's black on the inside. Now, whenever I use my Honey's mouse, I tell him, "after using my mouse, yours feels more like rat." xoxo Cyne

As far as I am concerned, I think I usually use my mouse and keyboard with my computer now, which I think can not be short of in my daily life. Without using a mouse or a keyboard, I think I will feel uncomfortable to use the computer. For me, using the traditional mouse and keyboard is my taste to enjoy the computer.Have a nice day.

My computer is a laptop. It's fairly new, I bought it in March so everything is in great working shape. I'm still using the keyboard and the mouse that is standard with the laptop. My last computer was slowly going downhill and the mouse stopped working long, long before I decided it was time to get myself a new computer. I used a different mouse on that one frequently because I didn't have a lot of nice features with the mouse on the laptop itself.

No I do not have the original anything to my pc. The mouse was awful. The keyboard was ok but I think the keys weren't working correctly after the kids spilling a zillion crumbs ect I was annoyed and bought the cheapest keyboard I could find. Then the next keyboards they somehow caused keys to become loose or missing so off to buy another basic keyboard.

Actually my father built my PC we just bought all the parts separate and he custom made it for me, lol, spoiled I know. So I also won a wireless mouse and keyboard on club bing and that is actually what I use now. I love it because my keyboard I can also use as a mouse it is one of those microsoft ones with all these cool buttons and extras. I love it and sometimes I don't even use the mouse I just use the keyboard since it has the capability to be a mouse too.

I have a virtual laptop and so I immediately purchases a wireless keyboard and mouse. I also bought a stand so my laptop sits up like a PC, but still able to take it anywhere I would like. I would not be able to simply use the keyboard and touch pad that would drive me nuts. LOL.

Not at all, my dad built my computer with 'spare parts', so there weren't any mouse and keyboard that came with the PC, so to speak. Still, I'm not using the first ones I got anymore at all: I've had several mice (with cord and cordless) and a couple of keyboards. Nowadays I use the mouse that came with my graphic tablet, and a nice keyboard that even though it's a few years old still works nicely. I'm not gonna replace either thing unless they stop working and can't be repaired. Take care! :)

I still have the keyboard and mouse that came with my computer. My keyboard and mouse are good enough for all my needs like gaming. I will only buy a new keyboard and mouse when they break. But I'm thinking of getting a notebook in the future.

My computer is a laptop, so I really don't have a choice unless I find a different keyboard and mouse with USB connections. I was thinking that someday if I got a proper desk instead of just using the laptop in bed I would get a more ergonomic keyboard and a wireless mouse. I find that using the laptop in bed tends to make my neck and back hurt, so I think a desk with an ergonomic keyboard would be the way to go. Not sure what any good models are though.

I am actually the type of person who doesn't just upgrade at once. As long as I can still use it and it's not yet defective, I will not replace it. However, if it's no longer usable and it's already giving me a hard time with my task, I will surely buy a new one.

I stuck with mine until they were ruined which, in my house, didn't take long. I still have a wired keyboard. But, I'm on, at least, my second wireless mouse. Love the wireless mouse. This one seems to be lasting. I think it's a logitech.
