Who is the most famous person in your country?

I know, we are from a lot of country. Every country also has one or some people who was very very famous and are admired by a lot of person.. This person maybe a politicians, writer, Economists.. Can you tell me this person in your country? Also his/her picture is good!
In my country is Uncle Ho. He is a leader of my country who lead my country gain independent from 2 wars! Now, he died but we remember and talk about him with respect and grateful, also proud of him!

"Ang hindi marunong magmahal sa sariling wika ay daig pa sa mabahong isda."
This means - One who does not know how to love his own native tongue is worst than a smelly rotten fish.
This is the famous line of our very famous national hero Dr. Jose Rizal. His pen is mightier than sword. Through his writings people in his time got inspired and got courage to fight back what was due for nations sake. Until now his name is still living in our hearts. He is the author of six great quotation one is the above mention

4. He who doesn't know how to look back at where he came from will never get to his destination.
Lastly which i like.People that preserves his language, it also preserves the mark of his liberty. With this last quotation together with my friends we organized a group of whom are lovers of old songs in our own dialect.
