There's lots of culture clips in Forest Gump. Just take a look at the history it covers and the various popular icons that it gives cameos to. It addresses both sides of a war, the men who were willing to walk out and die in it and the anti-war effort by a large part of the American Public. There are even quite a few bit-roles by popular American icons like the Beatles, the smiley face, a certain popular saying on bumper stickers, and the Apple company. Just watch and take notes on the history and the pop culture references. I'm sure you'll be able to find plenty.

Oh, we'll I'm glad you liked my response, even though I posted it quite awhile ago. To be honest, I don't much like Forest Gump myself, but I've had to watch it in school a few times, so I've picked up a lot.
