In the recent Asian Games, we have seen many gold medals have been won by the countries participating in the competition...Nevertheless, the praise should be given to the individuals and teams which have bring glory to their respective countries..Or they are not? Some reports have proven that some of the countries have used neutralized citizen from other countries to participate on behalf of their country...Although the practice is legal, but is it ethical from the sports point of view as well as patriotism perspective? Please share your views...

Yeah, but it seems unfair because you are not using your own countrymen to win it, but the citizen of other nation...

We have sportsperson born in China representing my country in table tennis and swimming, among other sports. I prefer to see local born and bred citizen representing us in national sports. I don't think it is illegal. Beside us, there are many countries getting people from PRC to represent them in sports. Likewise, many national team have born Brazilians representing them in soccer.

Well thank you for the response...I know it is not illegal, but as what you have said, I just wanted to see the local winning the medal for their country...and not just hoping for others to win the game for them....^__^
