How long do you sleep every day?

How many hours of sleep are enough?It's researched in USA that it should be seven hours.As is reported in "Sing Dao Daily Newa" Hong Kong,one research conducted by the medical department of Virginia University in America showed that it is ideal to sleep seven hours a day including the nap.While theose who sleep less than seven hours have more risk suffering from cardiovascular diseases.This report has published in the magazine "Sleep". Sleep is closely related to health.My dear friends,how long do you sleep everyday?Is it up to seven hours?Welcome to join the discussion!

i just love sleeping......i sleep too much....i sleep near about 8 hours at nights and if i will get time in daytime i will sleep again for near about 2 to 3 hours.... but during exam periods i sleep very less...may be 5 hours a day.... if i get tensed due to some reason i just go to sleep...and after waking up the there will be no stress in my mind.... thats why i love to sleep..... happy mylotting

I usually sleep about 8 hours a night. I don't work any longer, and I could probably sleep longer. I love to sleep. I have a physical problem and I know if I don't get up early and exercise I won't do it. I take a nap everyday. Usually for an hour. I could probably nap longer, but I have to go to the bathroom all the time. Nap time is the highlight of my day. I plan everything around my naps.

It is only during the weekends that I may manage to achieve a minimum of 7 hours sleep. On other days, having a minimum 6 hours of sleep is already a privilege. I sleep late yet cannot get up too late, or I will be late for work.

I admit that I don't get enough sleep, it's because of my morning classes and I get home in the evening. It's a tiring college life for me but I enjoy it. I just sleep long at weekends. I think I only sleep 5 or 6 hours every weekdays.

I think an adult should have 6-8 hours to sleep everyday. But some people in light-sleeping, they can sleep only 4-5 hours a day, but they are still healthy. And, some heavy sleeper they need to sleep about 7-8 hours a day. What type you are?

I usually try to sleep about eight hours a night. Sometimes it's a little less than that. However, I try to sleep at least 6 hours. Sometimes, it doesn't always work out that way, but I try to make it up whenever I can.

hello, I always slept 7 hours a day if ever i can,or even longer like 8-9 hours. I worked with different shift hours,so i need good rest esp if i am into night shift or early morning so that i won't be feeling sleepy. I love to sleep either have a good day

Hi, pengyachu! Nice question you asked. I try to sleep at least 7h and a half per day. Well, 7h could be enough as well but not less than that. Usually I sleep about 8 - I think that completely enough. If I sleep more than that I don't feel good. If I sleep less than 7hours, I don't feel right as well. In my opinion, sleeping's one of the most important body processes. So I agree that people who don't have enough sleep are in danger. Greetings!

I would say on average 12 hours per day, I love to sleep, and it's a blissful escape from the real, stressful world. I know I should try to limit to no more than 10, which I'm trying to get back into doing. I suppose some people require more sleep than others :-p

Hello! I am a person who really love to sleep and I sleep 7-8 hours a night. When my time of sleep didn't reach that hours, surely I will feel dizzy and most of the day, I will feel irritated and as if my head is too light. I believe that a good uninterrupted sleep brings me so much advantage especially when talking about the health benefits it brings. HAve a nice day!

Hi, Pengyachu, I try to sleep at least 7 hours but sometimes I have too much work and a don't sleep enough time. But the problem is that I usually go to bed very late. I feel better in the evening and sometimes I work even late at night. Or I make things for myself like now - I try to check things in myLot and it's 2 AM. This is not good for the health too :D

It's weird because for the past few days I didn't just get seven hours of sleep but more! I overslept most of the times. It's not healthy, it gives me headache. Last night, I slept from 12am-11am and it felt like my whole body is aching. I'm not insomniac, maybe it's the result of my previous work (graveyard shift) that I can't take out off my system yet. I hope I can control my sleeping habit and have a healthy seven hours of sleep.

hi friend. I heard that a man should sleep 8 hours per day to be a healthy man. But atleast should sleep 6 hours. 6 hours sleep per day is must. But i used to sleep even 12 hours.

Wow really so I am at risk of developing a cardiovascular diseases because I only sleep a minimum of five to six hours a day. It's about time I really have to sleep more hours or else I will have illness later. The problem is I don't have much time to finish everything and that is the reason why I have to sleep few hours everyday. Anyways, thanks for the info this really freaks me out and some sort of awakening as well. I will try to have some sleep during day time so that I can have at least seven hours for sleep everyday. Good thing they published some researched like this.

I sleep a minimum of 6 hours and a maximum of 8.Some days i sleep better.On others sleep is scarce.I think i can sleep on an average for about 7 hours a day.

Hi Pen I usually sleep a minimum of 6 hours and a max of 8 but usually its more like 6 I wake up at night sometimes to go to the bathroom also I naturally wake up at a certain time each morning even of weekends because I am so used to getting up at that time to go to work although I may not get up on weekends till 9am I am awake by at least 7:30

it will take me about 11 hours to sleep usually ,but recently I have only 3 hours sleeping time everyday .I am very tired but i have to keep doing the task until it is done well .

if I sleep a maximum of approximately 8 hours maximum and minimum of about 5 hours. and that too if I was a lot of work until late at night.
