Tasks..Are they real?

I have recently Completed 2 Tasks on mylot. One for 0.2$ and one for 0.3$ I have some questions about it.. The Task creator is a normal person,i.e,Not a crew member of MYLOT..Then what is the proof that he would pay us? He may get the answer and then Disqualify us due to some fake reason? And how would he pay us? Will the money get added into my balance or He will pay me externally(not through mylot) ? So,In other words,Are the tasks useful and helpful? Anyone got paid through them? Thanks, Steelfist (Harshit)

There is no guarantee on getting paid or not. It is a matter of whether you trust the task creator. I have done a couple of tasks myself and got declined for them based on using "improper English". I find this hard to believe since English is my native language, I have therefore been practising it for 20 years and I have an A grade A Level in the subject of English Language, which is marked dominantly on my grammar. Therefore I have stopped doing tasks, because I believe that a lot of people will take your work without paying you for it. If you are lucky and your task is accepted then you will be paid through mylot. Mylot does not recommend that you give out paypal information and definitely not your bank details.

I may do a couple of tasks and see if I have any more luck this time. The last time I did a task was a couple of hours ago. Be sure to let me know if you do get paid for the tasks that you do.

...Hi there steelfist, Welcome to the ranch. I tried a few of the smaller Tasks and found that they either didn't pay or didn't pan out. I did exactly what the task required and it was stated that what I did was ineligible after posting information to my website. So I stopped, will not be doing any more of them. Others have done selected Tasks and have gotten paid. What I do participate in quite a lot are the SharonBucks Tasks which are researching and writing about the subjects posted. It is not a lot of money offered but it adds up and I have been paid everytime. I like to write so I am satisfied. Good luck.

I have never tried tasks. I figured I don't have the time for it and I'd earn just as much posting comments and responses for the same time spent doing the tasks without a guarantee of payment.

I don't like taking tasks on mylot because a lot of mylotters don't pay. Some people give you a task worth 10 cents for 1 cent. Some tasks take a long time to finish but you are given a short period of time to do them in. That's why I stopped doing them they are just not worth it, to do all that work only to not get paid.

This is the major problem all over the online job community, i have done work at many places like mturk, odesk and many more but you will find this cheater everywhere, they will not pay you after the work is done and we cannot do anything so i have decided simply not to do such works. now talking here about mylot task i do not know enough as i have not attempted any you should give a try to some as there are many genuine people also.

When I did tasks way back when, I usually avoid people with 0 posts. I also look to see what the task is and how many of the task are left(gives me an idea of whether the task-provider is accepting the tasks or not.) Mylot does run some tasks through there on occasion, though. Really though, you do honestly take a risk but I mean, for a minute or two(maybe a bit longer) of your time do you really want to go through the hassle of wondering if you'll get that $0.05 or not(I would see the dilemna if you made like $3.00 worth of task earnings only to have them all rejected.) but yeah. As a past task-creator I can answer your question. Mylot asks you to fund your account before putting up a task. So you have to actually physically have the task money in order to even launch a task. So, to some degree if the task is up and done right they already paid the money through to Mylot so they do intend to accept or decline your task. This means that when you get accepted for a task it automatically takes from the funds the task-giver had to use to fund the account. Meaning, it will be added into your current Mylot Balance and you'll receive it with your normal mylot earnings on the following month you reach payout. Hope this helps!
