Newcastle, a team with no depth?

Losing Barton, Nolan to injuries, and Williamson and Colo to suspension, Newcastle played like a Championship team against an impressive West Brom. Do you think there is too little depth in Newcastle? They look really awful without their first team players.

Newcastle are a side who can play amazing on thier day or can play dreadful football at times like the game agianst West Brom, I think injuries have really dented the confidence of the Newcastle players with thier captian out also. But i think players like Andy carrol and Thomas Gutierz are players who can lift the team and win matches. The manager of Newcastle just recently got sacked so a new manager with new stratagy may help the club and the players, and mabye in the Jaunary transfer season, they can buy some quality players.

Every team will suffer if they are without their first team players. But all respect to West Brom, they look pretty solid for a promoted side. I think they will survive this season and chuck away their unwanted reputation of being a yo-yo club. Too poor for the Premier league but too good from the Championship.

now there troubles are getting even bigger, there coach has been sacked. i dont think that is good move from the owners. he has done a good job with the limited resources that he had. he didn't deserve that type of treatment.

I don't know what to say, because I don't really follow the Premier League, and Newcastle not even that. But this is a major problem for many teams, that the first team is much better than the subs. And even if a sub can be at the same level, if he has no game practice he won't do so well when playing for 90 minutes after a long while.
