Hello everyone,
I have never been to my reunions, I do not know why people have those. If I wanted to see them they would have been my friends and would see me at least once a week not once every 5 to 10 years. So what do you think, do you go to your reunions and if you do is it worth it?

If it is anything like my high school old friends, many of us relocated and do not live in the same cities and or states. So after graduating from high school I really had major priorities to tend to so it would not have been possible to keep in touch as they too had priorities they had to tend to.
So having seen a bunch of them at my reunion, brought great joys and laughter to re-meet again. I also met friends that I really did not know during my high school years as we were a class of well over 4,000.
I can tell you that since my first class reunion we keep in tough routinely, via email, texting and telephone calls.
About 15 of us get together once a year, and each one of us plans a party at once another homes. So for me it is so well worth it as not only did I reunite with old friends, I have made true new ones. This is important to us my friend as we are all true friends and enjoy sharing family matters.
So to say that they did not keep in touch with me would be unfair as I would have had no way to do so myself.

Thank you for your time,
Maybe I should go to my next one, but how about if you were not popular in high school and did not get along with a lot of them. What would you do in that instance.

Funny thing about that is that I was not popular one bit. I was an honor student and never missed a class as most people hung out and had fun.
Now later in life I seem to be quite popular as I remained myself and and am quite an outgoing person. Many of them starting out with small children and I can't begin to tell you how they compliment me and look to me for advice with their kids.
One thing to keep in mind when you attend a reunion, we are no longer in high school and are not there to impress but rather have a good time and share life memories.

I haven't been out long enough to have one. Yet, I doubt that I ever would. There is nothing more pathetic than a bunch of people trying to relieve their past glories in High School because they have never accomplished anything. Or nothing more accomplishing to see that person who slacked through school, while I worked hard becoming a success. Either of those things would be rather annoying.

I did decide one year to attend a reunion with students that were at that college in 1988 and 1989. The reunion was in 2003 I think it was and that previous time I had been over to that area had been 1998. It was interesting to see people there that I remembered. I saw some people that used to be in the same halls of residence as me. In general they looked so much older. These people were not friends that I have kept up with. I do still have friendships with some of the people that I went to primary school with, secondary school with and university with. I moved to a different area in 2005 so I don't think I will be able to go to anymore of the college reunions. Really it was a shock to see the college had been knocked down and apartments had been built with views of the River Thames. Funnily enough the abbey was still there. I think it is a listed building.

Well my dad went to his high school reunion back in 2000, 20 years after he graduated. It is a nice time to see old friends that you most likely have never met since you were in grad year at high school.I am only 23 right now so i will not be at my first reunion for another 5 years at least.I will most likely go to it if I am capable of going and hope to see some old faces that I have not seen for quite some time.It a nice place to talk to people and engage in a conversation about what they choose to do for a career and events that they have encountered along the time since they graduated.

Thank you for your time silver,
You have reunions every 10 years, I thought it was every 5 years. I would like to go to my 25 years reunion to see how people changed.
