Lol im personally a PC fan all the way, but then again this is an opinion. Your basing you Apple information on the Ipod touch in which i own. But anyhow i would go PC since it has a larger fan base so to speak. I think mac computers suck because they can't be tweaked with. A pc you can basically open up and upgrade the video card motherboard etc. with a MAC you gotta change the whole computer every 2 years or so (Well i am a PC gamer so lol)

That's not true!!! Macs are very "old aged"! I used mine for professional use for 5-6 years, and it still works. I just changed it into a new MacBook Pro 15" i7!!! Macs can be "tweaked" too, and not that hardly. They even give information about how to change memory cards, hard drives and others on Apple's own website!!! If you love your iPod touch, then I'm sure you would love a Mac, but you could just stick with your PC until it's too old, and then change

well, I know of people who use apple (the company i work for has about 80% Apple computers and the reason they say is that you have a very small if not zero, chances of getting virused. That's the best part they say aside from the quick processing of videos, etc. Our IT personnel even suggests that i get one like this than the usual PC. If I have the money, I'll go for apple! THe cons is, when you use microsoft PC, all your work will adjust and so your work looks bad such as a powerpoint presentation. so, those are things you might want to consider. Quality-wise, it seems like apple is far better than the usual PC. Just my opinion, whatever happens, weigh all pros and cons. Good luck!

I think all of the operating systems are good not just one. I like using microsoft, linux and apple s tuff too. Make sure your hardware is good. There is less problems when that works.

That's mostly a rumor from the late 1990s - back then the mainstream computers of choice were PCs. People who create viruses are looking to cause the most havoc to the most number of people, so they didn't bother creating viruses for Macs as not as many people used them in business. Now, as more Macs move into the mainstream, viruses for them are becoming more prevalent. I have gotten viruses on my Mac at work before - and they definitely exist now, so don't use that as a deciding factor. In general, you can get a PC for less than a Mac, but the advantage with the Mac is that all of the software and hardware comes from the same company. Really it depends on what you'll use it for - gaming? I'd go with a PC as there's a wider variety of games. Just email and Word - again PC, as you'll probably get the same kind of machine for cheaper. But if you're looking to do video editing, anything with music, I'd go with Mac, as some of the software for these applications is really awesome.

I think it is just a matter of preference and on what you plan to do. Many prefer Mac because if it's reputation of no malware. Others prefer Windows due to the ease of getting software for it. Another consideration is your budget. If you have unlimited, you could get both or you could run Windows in your Mac.

Well I'm a real Microsoft fan and grew up with the windows operating system.I have rarely used apple or lynx.I have heard they are fairly similar to windows but its just not what I am used to and I would struggle getting familiar with it due to the 20 or so years using windows.I may try it just to see what its all about but will always use windows as my primary operating system.i love the amount of improvements made in windows xp and then windows 7.Windwos xp having auto-detection and install a device was really convenient and i really think it is one of the windows operating systems best features.

eh i think if your PC is still in good condition keep it but i do love apple. I have a ipod touch as well and my bro has a iphone i personally think there the best hand held devices out right now especially if their hacked! But i never had a apple computer but from what i heard there more stable than vista or windows 7 ( like with viruses and computer crashes) but a lot more expensive and little harder to fix on your own.... if you got the cash and really want it go for it!

Go PC!!!! Why pay twice for get an Apple!? Well, I have an apple and 3 PC. The only reason I'm using apple because I'm working on designing areas while my clients required Apple..... If you don't need to do design or film stuffs, don't ever get apple....unless you are rich. LOL
