I am using ebay for years now but never tried amazon. Ebay maybe has the advantage because most country has a local ebay site. It is more convenient to use the local ebay since you can communicate with your language and the shipment is more fast than international one. Obviously I go with ebay , I have already proven and tested the site. But you can always try both of them.

I think impossible since they are business rivals? Try to sell your amazon gift cards in ebay or trade for it if you want something in ebay.

I like buying from both Ebay and Amazon. But usually I like buying books from Amazon. I buy other stuff from Taobao, such as the clothes, toys, stationery etc. I love China

They say shipping time is faster with Amazon compared to eBay. How true is this? I haven't tried purchasing from Amazon yet.

if it's books Amazon is cheaper but everything else I go with Ebay. About fraud, I experienced it with both I ordered for 2 books on Amazon from 1 seller last month I only received one, contacted seller twice and only 1 email was replied I left low feedback, and they said I can pick replacement for the book that didn't arrive I picked one, and they said the book is available but they couldn't find order # I contacted Amazon custoemr service this time, it's clear I am not going to get the book at all. first of all, I didn't get the book I paid. secondly, I am not supposed to pay for the replacement book. If they ask for order # that means they want me to pay for the replacement book too, otherwise order # will not be generated. the original order # is very easy to see on all Amazon emails so I sent them point blank last email. telling them merry christmas, I hope they enjoy the money I paid for the book that never arrived there is no refund policy stated, so I had to contact them. They only said they will refund half price. I never knew that kind of refund policy, even on Ebay. It's like saying, well whatever happens, they will keep half the money

I've never tried amazon, but I love ebay. I've purchased several times from there and just a few months ago I decided to be an ebay seller. I love the fact that I can sell a few things here and there with relatively low cost.
