Is Harry Potter movie appropriate for children?

I've watched all the series of Harry Potter on big screen. Now, it comes to an end - the first final series. Quite interesting. Entertaining. But the thing is, it's all about magic, witchrcraft, sorcery and witches. I just thought children needs to be guided. New age movement is popular nowadays. The movie encourages magic and have your own power. It is selfish. We all know it is forbidden and the Bible condemns it. Anyways, it's one way of learning and teaching them what is good or not. xoxo
