Wondering how you Republicans and Democrats are feeling about the decision?

Today, the announcement came about the approval of the extension of
long-term unemployment payments to the millions of people who had them cut off last week when the Republican senators and representatives held them hostage in an attempt to extend the Bush era tax cuts for those who make over $250,000-- This amount is, by the way, a mistatement as the $250,000 talks about taxable income and many of the people in the upper tax brackets have many deductions which would have dropped the taxable income down below that amount... So a person making over $300,000 may not have had to pay any additional taxes even if Obama's plan had gone through.
I am now wondering how you Republicans can justify the actions of your leaders who flinched at adding to the budget deficit by extending long-term unemployment and who jumped at the chance of giving a tax break to those who probably make a lot more than you will ever see in your lifetime?
And I am also wondering how you Democrats are dealing with the fact that your leaders today caved in and gave in to the Republicans?
I am also wondering what it will mean for the 2012 Presidential Elections as the tax break is only short-term and will be coming up
again for debate right before the Presidential Election.

Well I hadnt heard but I am in hops tha they gave tax breaks to the small businesses so some of these empty shops here can fill up again.
Most of the plces around here looks like a ghost town
WE need businesses in here so people can go back to work and get off unemployment.
I just wonder when Obama is going to stop spending money goingto forign countiers and putting more and more of the country going into debt for it
