. . .people may ask why some of us believe in so many GOD and form many religious group? the answers maybe because people have different belief. that they may tend to follow if they not satisfied with the other one! and may i ask them what are their criteria for them to follow and join to that group?. . . . .us people are not contented of what we have now thats why so many problem arise, there are some belief that the other don't follow, why they don't come up into one unified religion whereas at the end we both pertaining to one entity the SUPREME GOD!!!

Perhaps people should set beliefs aside in search to discover the real truth. Beliefs point the direction to which we should search for the real truth but they will never be the answers.

Actually that's the goal of the Catholic Church through its Ecumenical movement, to unify all churches of the world. That's a good idea and can bring peace, but what if someone with crooked doctrines take advantage of it? Let's say me, I unify all of you here into following me, but my doctrine is not good and actually of evil masking it of God, what do you think will happen?

Ok I got it but here is my back question. Do you think in your idea all will agree to unified since you said we have own belief. Only problem now a lot of various religion sects are under the group of CULT, means wrong motive, wrong god to worship and wrong teaching. If all can agreed to unified in one group or denomination but should be worship in One God through Jesus Christ... see you around

I think it is because it is human nature to always disagree and not be contented with what we have and to rebel, Remember the principle sin of man why he is far from god is the sin of disobedience, and in Christian teaching it was the cause of his fall

The reason why there are many religion is because God loves humanity very much to the extent that He provides so many ways for us to be able to return to Him. Around the world there are five major religions (Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism) each having its dominant period and major area of influence. But if we look closely, these religions have one purpose...and that is to find the way back to God.
