Anything special about 2011

Hi friends, I am starting a discussion after a very long time. First let me wish you all a very Happy New Year in advance. This year 2011 is special for me as I complete half a century in my life. The thought that i am on this earth for the past fifty years excite me. Some may feel I am acting funny and foolish at this age, but you see it differs from person from person. My family members are already planning for my birthday as I am the eldest in the family.

Wonderful friend, let me pray the almighty, you live for 100 years with 1000 years in a year, for me on 1st january i will be with my son, daughter in law and grandkids in Hyderabad, am going there with my wife..

Oh no! i would like to live a life which is worthwhile and not for hundred years. I don't believe in quantity but in quality. What is the use of living long without being a good human being. I would like to be remembered as a good human. Thanks for your response.

2011 should be a very interesting year. That is the year that I am on track for getting my Masters degree. I really hope for some good things to happen. Then again, only time will tell exactly what will happen. Still other than that, I'll know exactly what might be special as the year goes on and on. Still it should be an intriguing one to say the least.
