This thought is simply comes across my mind and I am sure that you too once in awhile will have that kind of thought. Yes I do know that money is not everything. Some even say that money cannot buy happiness. I am totally agree with it too. It just that if I have lots of money I can do a lot things in my life. Being rich doesn't mean that I will go for a spending thrift. For sure I have to be responsible with my money. For the time being, I feel that being without enough money every months end really limited my access to lots of things. I cannot buy this and that. I am sure I can do charity work if I have lots of it. Hahahaha for the time being, I just need to be thankful for every ringgits and sen that I have. I have to remember that all the money that I have is important to me.

I have the same sentiment that you do. I feel that sometimes that money is still a big part of a person's life (whether we like or not) yet we are capable of living without it just the same. I guess this is the part where reality really bites us in you know where and make us kinda of materialistic for not so greedy reasons. Like you, I have been trying to be responsible financially because I feel that the money I have today will somehow decide my future financial situation. anyways, good luck.

Most people would also love the idea of having lots of money and what it feels like to be able to buy every thing you want, material things in particular. But I have realized that the most important things are true happiness which money can't buy and peace of mind. If you have all of these you will surely be contented about life.

hi alokijon,
I have same hopes as you. I want to have lots of money that is why I am working hard. As of now, I have good earnings in my teaching career, however I think it is still not enough because there are lots of expenses still. My younger sister will soon graduate and they have many requirements at the university. Our house is under construction and hopefully before Christmas it will be ok. Both of my parents are old and I wish to get a maid for them so they don't have to work hard. I also wish to buy an lcd projector that I know will surely give a big help with me and with my students. That is why I am really budgeting my time so I can finish all the things I need to do in the school and in the university where I am studying, and also to participate to online jobs.

True indeed. Money is important to us and it's indispensable to us too. Sometimes having too much or too little money also has its fair share of problems. Having too much money, you won't know how to spend it and you keep it in the bank. Investing in stocks may just pose too big a risk so you will rather keep in the bank and let it grow slowly. Whereas having too little money, as you said, you will have to worry about what to eat, what to wear and most importantly, the bills. Money is also the root of all evil. With money, you can do anything. Such as in the case of love, when one mother forbids this particular girl to date with her son, the mother will use the power of money to get rid of the girl, this was what I often see in dramas. So, the best is, when you have money, do make the best use of it, feel good about it.

Hi Alokijon, I dearly wish I have enough money to pay for everything and for all future expenses as well.
If I were rich, I would stop working for money, and start to volunteer and help others. I think I would feel happier when I work out of love rather than out of obligation.
I doubt I will spend all the money carelessly. It is second nature to save money, and spend only on worthwhile goods.
