I got the most wonderful surprise from one of my good mylot friends yesterday. She forwarded a video of ELVIS singing Blue Christmas. I don't know how many times i did watch it & cried like a baby. It brought back alot of memories, good & bad. I have loved ELVIS since i was a young teenager & that's been a 100 years ago, lol.Anymore Elvis fans on here?? He's sooooooo pretty.

Oh I will tell you I posted too quickly the other day! I'm going to include a link to a slideshow too and I hope it shows up as a link, otherwise I'll have to add a photo to my profile or something. If you can see the link, you'll have to scroll to number 1, it starts at 100 (I'm sorry).
My personal favorite is Ian Somerhalder . He just had a birthday yesterday.... was in LOST and is in Vampire Diaries. The pic on the slideshow is a good one lol. He's not just easy on the eyes, he's a nice guy.

I have a few Elvis records (CDs) and play them along with my other music. I enjoyed his movies but no more than other stars of the time. I had a young husband that I thought just as handsome as Elvis and I got to go home with him. The only problem was - he couldn't sing.

Yes, I'm a big Elvis fan, too! I saw him in concert one time and I also got a chance to go to Graceland in 1988. I also had a dog and a teddy bear I named after Elvis one time, lol! Yes, in my opinion, he was the handsomest man in the world, lol! Blue Christmas was also one of my favorite Christmas songs by him. Have you seen that video where Martina McBride is singing this song with him? If you haven't, you should check it out sometime. It's on youtube. I don't know how they made it look like she was really singing with him. Have you ever heard Elvis sing "Here Comes Santa Claus" and "White Christmas"? I have the Christmas album that he made and both of these songs are on there. He sings them in his own style!

Elvis was The King and will always will be The King. There have been very few people that have come along that most anyone will know who you are talking about that are known by just one name. ELVIS,CHER, OPRAH and JAY come to my mind right off the bat. How many others can you name?

He is pretty isn't he? I remember when my good friend lived here(SHe moved to Texas) we used to get together and play card games. She would play her collection of Elvis records. I also remember getting her the while album of his for Christmas one year and she was so excited. It seems like a hundred years since I was a young teenager. Loved those days.

I NEVER became an Elvis fan! Although yes I liked his music, but that die hard fan, nope, never did. I had cousins that were so mersmerized by him that they turned me off. Plus, I was really into this one tv show and we were at my aunts and it was coming on but they were all leaving for the Elvis movie, I had to miss my tv show!!!! To me that in itself was a tragic so that turned me off more to him. Of course that was back when they didn't do all the reruns. I never did see that tv show episode until a few years ago when it came out on DVD's and my friend bought the series for me, and out of the series it was the only one I remembered from the show! What an impression. Got some late thanksgiving cards that I finally have time to get the addresses off the internet and in teh mail. Think anyone will mind getting a Thanksgiving card 2 weeks late??? I am hoping its the thought that counts! they wouldn't have been late if I hadn't been involved with the school work and all the problems with my computer!

Yep never made it to that Loving Elvis phase. Like I said I did like his music and yes a few of the movies. Might have been different if I hadn't had to miss my favorite tv show! Of course, we didn't have all the access that others had and when we went to the movie that my cousins were just "dying" over, I was asking "WHO is he?"...

I think the next one, will have to be "Crying in the Chapel" for both you and I! I, too, had to stop watching it....as I couldn't stem the tears. I find the video-graphy so amazing, too! To gap those years, and have Martina MacBride, as part of it! You betcha....I'm an Elvis fan....one of the BIGGEST! I don't think there is a single one of his songs, that doesn't conjure up memories! Wished I could figure out how to put the link on here and share this beautiful version! Really, dear ELVIS isn't that old....LOL! Have a great day...HUGZ & LUV!!

He was pretty wasn’t he? I can’t say I was ever a big fan but I did appreciate his gifts (LOL)! His music was amazing; I remember my mum listening to cassette tapes (remember those?) of his music and it was fantastic. I do have a video of him doing his 68 come back and he looked and sounded great there! I think the Elvis era would bring back so many memories for so many people. It’s a shame he had to leave us at such a young age...

I'm a big fan I have so much of his memorablia (spelling) that I have received from family members. I have pictures, books his doll, his watch, his pen, his pillow and a waste basket. All with that handsome face on it not to mention an album from back in the day to cds now. I will still watch his movies over and over again especially the good ones like King Cerole or the western Love me Tender which they don't show enough of on TV. I have many times broken down over him being gone and its now over 30 years.
