Is half of life is 40 years of age?

our life in childhood,adolescence,the period of youth,middle age period includes the period of old age.I think the age of 40 is equivalent to middle age.Sowing always somethink people up to age 40.Ages 40 and then collect them.There are many thinks to do after this ages.

As they say it, "life starts at forty"...But I think it is somewhat only applicable to men...Not to be sexist, but men generally is better as they ages...and the women is the opposite (less beautiful, less attractive etc.) This statement is simply based on the fact that at this age, most people have secured their job, house, and all their basic needs...Then they would think that this is the time to do what they have always wanted to do...
