What Artists Do You Think Deserve More Recognition?

Yea I was browsing through my music today and i just happened to realize that what i mostly listen to is all underground artists or signed artists who are not known by many of my peers. It seems as if all the good music is being bypassed by the mainstream media and its even come to be a civil issue in the hiphop industry that hiphop may be dead. Well what do you guys think? I dont think it's dead i just think homage should still be paid to the veterans for making it as big as it is. It's created brand new lives and jobs for people around the world. And also the world of indy music is growing bigger and more popular everyday making the mainstream artists sem a little too regular instead of exclusive(in the hiphop industry at least).
