tattoos and stretch marks

So i have four kids and i want to get my first tattoo im really excited about this i want it down my right side from my hip up goin to the top of my back.Yes its a big one but it may be my only one. The only thing i question is that i have stretch marks and wanted to know if anyone who has had a baby has ever got a tattoo over stretch marks? I dont want it to look bad ?

hi, i have about 17 tattoos all on different partsof me and i have also had a kid so been tattooed over stretch marks. i was always told it wouldnt hurt anymore over stretch marks and i will be honest it does hurt more. depending on your design on how well it will go over a stretch mark. if there isnt lots of detail but say just colour it will look fine! but then again what ever tattooist you go to should tell you all this and they should no how to work with your skin. hope that helps and good luck!!
