I'm happy with myself, but I have this problem with my temper, my being a worrier, my pride and my tactlessness... I have curbed them a little but old habits are hard to change...I really try to change for the better but sometimes these old attitudes creep back into the surface of my awareness that I hurt people that matter to me... Do you also feel the same way? Do you have bad attitudes that even though you've tried to pull with its roots, still keeps growing back?

Many times in life we have to put up with change whether if we like it or not. Our car breaks down, we punch it. We feel better but I am sure the car is wounded for life. Nobody likes change, and nobody likes the attitudes that go with it. I would have to say that we just have to learn to cope with change big or small.

There are several workshops in most American states that tell about time management, life changes, habit addiction programs, et cetera. Check with your local city hall or welcome center and see what is out there.

It is not surprising to see young people with unfavorable attitudes that are annoying to others. The elders used to say 'young blood.' I have been there once and regretted how much I have created a fury on others. But that will soon go for you as you age. I no longer behave the way I did when I was younger. Now that I am in my twilight years I have mellowed down a lot as I have acquired much wisdom in life and learn to give and take.

Being aware of our short comings is definitely a step in the right direction. SOme of these 'bad attitudes' are just a part of who we are. When we are stressed or haven't gotten enough sleep it is much easier to slip and these short commings come to the surface. I get impatient and yell sometimes and I feel badly when I do. I have gotten alot better about them and I keep working at it. It is a daily struggle. Meditation helps me. Yoga. Meditating on a given instance when these things happen and then act differently in the meditation and get used to this changed action. It works for me. Just have to keep doing it afew times.

Yea I do. I promised that I would kick off my bad temper and crazy behaviour of scolding the TV when I see something bad. I've tried to change it and it worked somehow in the first few weeks but then my habit came back later. I wonder how to really change it as I feel really stupid to scold the TV LOL!
