Hi, I can't survive without an internet. Everyday I will surf net, either to check on my emails, to chat with my friends and also do some online jobs. By having an internet, it makes me more advanced and I can get any kind of update information in a minute time. I do know that seeing too long on computer may not do good to my eyes,so everytime when my eyes feel tired,I will have a rest. I do hope I can spent more time infront of my laptop,so that I can earn more money for myself in MyLot.

It seems like it to me, and the reason why I say this is because I have an addictive personality. My issue used to be the chat rooms, and it nearly broke up my family. I spent hours on them, even stayed up all night a few times. There's no definite answer, as each person is different. For me, a run-in with a pyramid scheme and going into major debt stopped me, and I focused on trying to earn a few dollars here and there on the Internet. So, if I'm online, I'm just here to earn money, really, and I'm not on as much as I used to be. Other people do have to seek professional services especially if it's interfering with family life and the bank account. Best nip it in the bud and figure out your priorities if you recognise it now. And yes, it can be detrimental healthwise, especially emotional health and ergonomic health. (posture, risk of early round-shoulders, back issues) The LED screens aren't soo bad on the eyes, but remember, there could be eye strain which can lead to headaches. Sorry I couldn't give you a "magic solution" as there's no easy answer. Best of luck :-)

Perhaps you already an internet addict. There are reports that using to much computer can cause health problems. But you can always try to control your time of use. If you feel that its already creating to much strain in your eyes, then you might try to relax a little bit. Also, try to have a good position as you use your computer. Often, you may experience back problems or even neck problems if you are not properly positioned.

We all surf the internet daily, probably how we found this site most likely unless it was by networking with others. I would have to say that the addiction is good and bad. yes it can be a strain on your eyes but knowledge is power and power is leading.

Yes, you are already considered as Internet Addict. In order to resist on this problem try to focus your attention to other things like watching informative channel on tv or read in advance to your studies and best of all, have a good amount of sleep each day.

I think you are addicted to the internet, but nowdays it is normal. I think so because I also experienced it, every hour, every day, much of my time in front of of the notebook than anything else. And about your grandpa, you'd better do what he ordered, I think it's true that for too long in front of of the pc or notebook is not good, especially for those of you who are still young.

Really .. I think internet has vast world. when we surf we get more links and more more, we don't get tired because we have interest, and links shows more interesting things, It is not internet addiction, but i would not suggest you to stop surfing or searching, it is source of education, but We need to think, why we are away from social life, because of internet surfing, we could not get time to spend with our friend or relatives , some time we forget eating drinking, if you avoid yourself from these negatives, you can keep surfing chatting searching...

I also can't stop going on the internet. Even when I have no idea what I'm going on for, I just log on and find something to kill time. I really should stop and do something more productive... Anyway the best advice I can give you is to get off and do something with your grandfather. He won't always be around and you might wish that you spent some more time with him. Play some games together like chess or what not. Best of luck!
