Hello In my humble opinion the only harm mobile phones do have is that they can eat a lot of time and distract you a lot. You can get addicted to mobile phones from my point of view. Basically you'll start to believe that everybody needs to be accesible all the time, which is very wrong. I think that the only useful aspect of a mobile phone is that they can save your life in case of an emergency. Oh and of course you can answer myLot questions with them ;p (posted from an iPhone)

While it is true that cell phones do emit radiations, it's not enough to cause cancer or tumor. Some of the headphones we wear everyday gives off more radiations. Computers generate a lot more EMF, electro-magnetic fieid, then a cell phone does. Microwave oven gives off heck of a lot more than cell phone does. You get exposed to more EMF just by standing next to brightly lit neon signs while waiting for bus than talking on a cell phone. I don't know, I've been using cell phone for over 20 years & I haven't seen any ill-affects of it yet.

I am not sure what to think frankly. I have heard it both ways.and not sure what to say. I don't use my phone all day, so I don't think it will harm those that don't have their phone up to their ear all day.take care, and have a very good day.

There are a lot of habits and foods that increase the chance of getting cancer. In fact you're exposed to radiation 24/7. The earth is one heck of a radiating object. So I wouldn't think too philosophically about whether to use a mobile phone or not. Say it's true the radio signals of a mobile phone increase the chance of getting cancer and you're in a train? If you aren't using a mobile phone then probably someone else is and you would get equally exposed. Just don't worry, enjoy life, exercise and hope nasty diseases can be cured in the future. That's all there is to life now.
