I typed up an article right out of my head in Triond for the very first time last night, so that makes it my first article online. It's been pending since last night. I'm wondering if it takes longer to "get in" so to speak when writing for the very first time? Just curious, and nervous :-p

Triond is pretty open to many topics which is nice. Just get writing, and if you submit 10 articles this month you will get a 20% bonus from this months earnings, but only if it is posted on specific subpages. You can read more about it on thier blog.

Hello, Masihi. Triond usually takes 24 - 48 hours to accept an article, so don't worry just yet. It's nothing to do with first time writers - just the way the system there works. If your article is turned down, they'll suggest ways in which you can modify it to get it accepted.

My experience has been 24 hours. Glad yours got accepted. As long as it is original there is usually no problem.

Thanks,I added you as well :-)
Have you ever had trouble uploading videos to Triond before? I enver seem to get past the submit page, then it goes to Page not available - every time! Strange...I haven't tried the photo one yet, though.

It takes 2-3 days. That the longest time for triond to publish one content but sometimes it takes only few minutes. Congratulation for the published article.
I hope you don't mind if I add you as a friend in Triond. My username is Ima Vee. Just search me up.
You can also try writing in Bukisa. It's a cool site as well. Unlike Triond, they allow articles that's already been published so after you submit your content in Triond, you can submit it in Bukisa as well.

Hi, BambiDee
I am already a member of Bukisa, and have my 1st article re-published on there, then I put in "Copyright 2010 Elizabeth White (Masihi) All Rights Reserved" at the very bottom at my article on Bukisa, but I've also read that we should make the articles unique, for more income in the long run. At least that's what the Bukisa website says.
Tell me, what is your personal experience with income even if you republish to Bukisa after? I'm caught between doing higher-quality articles on Triond then doing simpler articles on Bukisa, or, republishing as you suggested.
hehe, I have to admit I'm still new to writing and such, and I do appreciate your input. I'll search for you and support you!

Usually just take a day or two to get the approval for articles, unless you post on Friday night.
In that case, it will probably take a few days for publishing. Weekend is usually very slow. Try not to publish anything from Friday to Sunday morning. Sunday night is quite all right.
I notice that the articles submitted on Sunday are published earlier than those submitted on Friday.
