Have you ever lied to your girlfriend or boyfriend, or possibly even your wife/husband? If yes, what was that lie? Did you ever get over it?

If you live in a world of liars, meaning that you have a lot of liars around you (like everybody pretty much) it doesnt mean that you need to join them! try to avoid lying as good as you can.

I can recall moments where a lie to a lover seemed like the only option. the bigger the lie became, the more guilt i felt for telling it. In the aftermath, the truth seems so much better.

In my opinion, a strictest sense of lie is anything other than full truth. In that case, yes I have lied to people. When I was involved in a car accident with my daughter in the car, I told her it was gonna be ok when I wasn't sure. When my daughter tried to make me a breakfast in bed for my birthday, I told her that breakfast she made which consisited of almost completely burnt toast & watery coffee & scrambled eggs with shells in it that it was good. When I was sick, I told my mom I was ok. And other forms of lies. But other than those small "white" lies, I haven't told any lies at all. I try to be honest 99% of the times. Even after small white lie, I try to correct myself. I believe people after certain ages deserves nothing but full truth. I'm not saying I've been perfect in my life but I try to live by that.

i lied to him, but only to make a joke. for fun. i like our relationship that we try our best not to lie. maybe we havent lied intentionally. there might be some stuff we havent told each other else, but subconsciously.
