Spending, and spending, this holiday Should I be cheap?

I guess the Thanksgiving just passed, and the Christmas holiday about to come. I did regret that I spent so much money on Black Friday, which I almost couldn't control myself. For this Christmas, I guess to stay in my budget plan, I should cut down the spending, and not buying that much gift. Call me cheap this year, I just don't want to be broke, and I still get bills and credit card debt to pay off. So, dear friends, if I didn't get your gift this year, I didn't mean to forget about your guys. I just want to stay in budget.

Hi, Yes...christmas is on the way...and I did not do any shopping for this coming CHristmas. No holiday trip for me and my family this year. so we will just stay at home and spend our family time at home..Take it as a rest day for all of us. Since I stopped working, I have to control my spending, I don't really shop for those unnecessary things. I will only shop for those things that I need most. Lastly when I was still working, I like to shop for clothes and bags. But I have quitted from that shopping habit and try to control my spending limit. It is best to set a monthly budget on your spending.especially if you are using credit card for most of your purchases, have to control your spending. Only when the credit card bill come, then you will realize that you have spent so much and that is too late to regret.

I experience the same, and I would agree what you said above. We just can't spend and spend, without making significant amount of money to fill up the hole we dug. We have to stop spending on those unnecessary stuff.
