What goes along with Aloo Parantha? / myLot

I prepared aloo parantha yesterday. I was confused as to what curry should I make for it. Finally I ended up with paneer Butter Masala. I think the combination was good. Which curry do you think would go well with aloo parantha?

Hi, I love aloo parathas. I usually serve them with yoghurt (curd), raitha or some pickle. I think any kind of pickle will do. I think garlic pickle goes best with aloo paratha.

You serve with simple curd.. Haven't tried it. Will give it a try next time. But my hubby doesn't like curd. So i will be forced to make some curry at least for him :(.. He likes garlic pickle.. Thank you for that

Aloo paranthas are usually heavy and spicy....they are best served with home made curd(preferrably thick and fresh). If your husband does not like curd you can make a chutney(by grinding coconut,corriander,chillies,garlic,some salt,sugar and squeeze of lemon juice). Mango pickle or tomato sauce are some other options..
