God simply doesn't exist is what I keep hearing. Can you prove it otherwise, do you have proof or a very good argument of god's existence?
My personal proof is the whole world, hello? Do you think everything just pops out and gets created? The world and everything around me is my ultimate proof for the existance of god.
Don't get me wrong, I believe in god, the title of this is just a little bit tricky ;).

Then who, or what, created God?
Furthermore, if the existence of the world constitutes proof of something, then I could reasonably assert that any number of imaginary beings exist simply because the world is here. For example, the universe is the result of a cosmic unicorn fart. My proof? It exists.
Sounds silly, doesn't it? That's because the existence of the world proves nothing other than the world's existence.

For some it takes very little to prove that God exists. For others no amount of proof will be convincing. God could do supernatural things to prove his existence to even the most stubborn critic. But in his wisdom, he allows us to decide whether we believe in his existence or not and to look at the proof as we wish at this time.
For me, the proof is in:
The intricacy of everything, from the hand to the eye to the ant to the sun, etc.
My communication with God through prayer.
The amazing book, the Holy Bible.
The qualities we possess like love, justice, humility, modesty, etc.
The amazing potential of our brain.
The capacities we have to invent, create variety of music, etc.
The fact that we have men and women and the wonder of that.
I'm convinced!

Hi and thanks for your response! For me, if one single day would go by and I hadn't communicated with my Heavenly Father I would feel bad and ashamed. God gives me 24 hours every single day, so surely I can find time to pray and read a little portion of his word the Bible. Yes, I definitely feel good after prayer. I look forward to speaking with Him and then by reading the Bible, God is able to speak to me His thoughts and views.
When I read the Bible, and I try every year to read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, I see that the thoughts therein are much higher than man could think and dream. The moral laws are superior to man's in every way. Also there are prophecies, the foretelling of future events that man cannot do. The Bible foretold so much about the future of Babylon, including that it would eventually never be rebuild and it would become a deserted place, this accuracy would only be possible because God can see the future as if it was yesterday when it is passed.
The world events that we are experiencing now were all foretold to happen in what the Bible calls the "last days." (See 2 Timothy 3:1-5 and Matthew chapter 24)
When I watch the news and see all the predictions in the Bible coming true in every detail, I'm convinced the Bible is the word of God and that God exists and active and that soon He will bring a wonderful change in the rulership of the earth to the benefit of all that love Him. All the best!

When you communicate with god through prayers do you feel better afterwards? I'm just asking because I have a lot of friends who don't really want to pray, but they just do it because of the pressure their family (very strict believers) puts on them.
Plus, why do you think the Holy Bible couldn't have been written by human and must be god's work?
I'm not denying any of your proofs, just wondering if you could elaborate further on them.
Have a nice evening!

i also agree with you. there is nothing in this world which don't have the creator. just like a chair for example. we know that human created it for the usage tools in humans activity. so we can ask our self, who had created all the things in this world, even the ants.
they can't be just exist like that.

If this question still plagues you and hinders you then please read my response on #19 of this discussion and there will be an answer that the human mind can grasp. I am in no way advocating that this IS the answer but rather AN answer. Sometimes with belief we have to think outside of the little box that so many try to place the Almighty and its works into.
I would rather to believe with facts than with blind faith as the world is full of us Doubting Thomases. Reminds me of the words of William Blake, "Though both read Bible day and night, where they read black, I read white"

Yes, that's correct. But if you are saying that everything has to have a creator, otherwise it can't exist and/or is not logical, then who created god would be the big question nobody can sadly answer...

Yep he's a great guy and is really convinced by Einstein, it seems.
However, he sometimes seems not to quite answer the questions he's being asked properly, not sure if this is his way to snitch out of questions, or if he just drifts off topic...
He's a great guy though, don't get me wrong!
Have a nice day.

Well you cant prove it , yes it can pop up there are possibilities :P
And what is the possibility for some lets say imaginary all mighty someone to make a planet and put life in it - same as the planet created and the little possibility for life existing is here .
I don't deny and i don't approve ... there are no evidences for both sides so its no matter this will never be settled :)

The very reason that each individual is able to breath is enough proof that God exist. As what others said, if a person has no faith in God, even if God himself tells him that He exist, still that person will not believe. No amount of miracle can convince an unbelieving person.

Science has shown how the "BIG BANG" and "EVOLUTION" are produced from the combining of atoms and molecules into greater and greater forms of existence, from the lowly amoeba to the tantamount that is MANKIND (as of now till something else is found). They have all sorts of proofs to show this progression but..........
What is saying that it is not part of the divine plan?!? One day to the Almighty could be a million years to us and vice-versa. So maybe that 7 days of creation could have been the millions of years of "EVOLUTION".
The Almighty works in mysterious ways and it is in these ways that we are not to understand. When you look at the advancements in medicine, technology, etc... that are accredited to "God" then you see that "God" works with other agencies. Maybe the "Evolution" was (it has been shown with science) but it was GUIDED by the hand of the Almighty as the WORKMANSHIP shows a higher intelligence.
As for your proof..... it can and has been shown by science to be both the aforementioned..... but, it is the intent and the development that needs further thought, not just the outcome.
Have a great day!!

Did you not read and just seen the subject of evolution? I am a believer in the Almighty and I do believe that He/She/It is still working to this day. Just encase you did not read I will restate an alternative position to the I Dream of Genie (Blink) that some "Godly" people believe in as the rational mind, in which we should all have can not take the Faith section and disregard the evidence section. The Almighty wanted those that could defend their faith not just be blind sheep being sent to slaughter as that is what leads to the "Cult" mentality that has seen so much pain, destruction and despair all in the name of GOD. So please read that think of what I have said, do not just dismiss on a single word that Darwin has quoted.... The Bible clearly states that one day can be a thousand years and a thousand years as a day when it comes to the Almighty
[b]"What is saying that it is not part of the divine plan?!? One day to the Almighty could be a million years to us and vice-versa. So maybe that 7 days of creation could have been the millions of years of "EVOLUTION".

It is completely impossible to believe that the Almighty in It's (Almighty is Spirit being neither Male nor Female so He nor She would fit although It sounds disrespectful...hmmmm... that is another discussion) omnipotence could not have guided evolution as that is what is left for us to discover?!? Or is that IMPOSSIBLE for Almighty? If it is impossible for the Almighty then that would kill the OMNIPOTENCE as this would be IMPOSSIBLE.... hmmmmmm.....
Now as I said I am a believer but I am not a sheep being led to slaughter and when they try to disprove the existence of the Almighty through the agency of Science then I can show the other side, thus defending my faith. The agency of Evolution in and of itself shows a divine plan or else we would be all messed up and in a terrible shape as things would have evolved at different speeds but the Almighty has kept us on track with the plan!!
I hope that this second post you will actually read and understand as it is the job/duty of all brothers and sisters to edify and clarify each other in understanding the Word of Truth. I am in no way saying this is THE way it happened as The Almighty works in mysterious ways, but this is rather an alternative to the "blink, blink" concept of creation that has been taught by others that try to put the Almighty into a box. Think outside of the box my friend as there is not a box big enough for the Almighty.
Have a wonderful day!!

There is allot of things in life that we can't prove or see. Like just because you can't see air doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Or just because there isn't hard proof for ghosts of elf's doesn't mean that there could be a chance. I believe it is always good to remain open minded because you never know what could be real.

Hello,
I do agree with you that you need to remain open minded, but what if you were to see a ghost for a quarter second, will you start believing that ghosts exist or will you think that it was just a trick played by your brain?
The problem is that we are used to normal things, sometimes we can't even accept supernatural occurences, even if we have had witnessed them...

Your message is kind of contradictory, but well, some people believe in fairies and some people believe in white bearded men who can create planets
The existance of so many religions and the circumstances under they were created is a good proof of how all of the gods created by all of the religions are fake. All religions claim to be the only real one, but it can't be possible, resulting in all fake, as they were created from the ignorance to control people and find an easy answer to questions that can't be answered that easily.

I don't need a proof. For me it is a question of what I feel and believe. If somebody asks for a proof, I don't talk to him, because this are provocative questions and their only purpose is to argue. So I don't care what others believe, I know what I know and nothing can change my mind.

Well, I really think the arugment of only believing in something you see is really ridicolous to be honest. Because you do believe in other stuff you don't see, as example your teacher tells you that something is happening in China at the time... or the media... you don't actually see it, but you believe it anyways, don't you?

for everything there ia an author and producer.Similarly for the wonderful worls there should be another.Who is He other than God.He is every where and no where. In Hinduism you are yourself is God.He has no separate existence apart from.He is within you. Those who meditate and concentrate can feel God within. He can be felt but seen just like electricity. You can feel elctricity but not see it...

I don't see how creating a small insect out of nothing would prove that there's not god anyway...
You guys have to realise that this discussion was originally about "god" not the "christian god" or "Allah", just god in general, something supernatural that created us.

There is not a single evidence that anyone nor anything has created the Almighty but that in and of itself can be explained so that the "finite mind" in which we have can understand.
See the accounts that we have are about OUR relationship to the Almighty not the Almighty to it's peers (if there is any). The Almighty was the beginning of us and will be the end of us and that is all we are given.
To get technical the account is Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning Elohim created the heaven and Earth."
on the web: http://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/lexicon/lexicon.cfm?Strongs=H430&t=KJV
The original word was "????????" which literally means GODS. So there is an argument to the idea that the Almighty was not alone being among several Gods as so many take this as the Holy Trinity. Now if there are other "Gods" this would fit into the idea that what we are given is OUR History not theirs, so who knows they may have an almighty of their own?!? I know that this sounds sacrilegious to those that refuse to think outside of the box (IMAGINATION) but, that is the wonderful thing of Free Will.
Who or what was it that created God?!? Who knows?!? All we know is that the Almighty is the Beginning and the End OF US.
I hope this has helped at least a little. Have a great Day!!

Hello,
So you are, too, saying that everything needs to have a creator, your argument bases on creators. Well, then my question is who created god?
It's just like trying to image the "last number", 1, 2, 3, 4 ..., 54534534534534 ....
your imagination will end and you won't be able to picture the "last number".
Greetings

Hi samyboy, Each of us must answer the question of God's existence or otherwise for ourselves. I believe that there is more to life than this physical experience, but I don't believe in "the old man in the sky" kind of God.I feel that if we go within, into the silence, we will find our own truth. It is not something that we can prove to another, that's why everyone must seek it for themselves. I'd like to add that I don't think it matters whether we believe in God or not, but it does matter how we treat the people that we encounter in our daily lives. Blessings.

Hello,
That's also exactly what I think, I wasn't talking about "the old man in the sky" god, just god in general, some supernatural energy that created us and perhaps is watching us or whatever you think a god would be doing with his valuable time...
Have a nice day!
