If you are a UK resident, then you can try Ciao UK, but then don't pay through Paypal, they only pay UK residents who have a UK bank account. I've posted a lot of reviews there and their payment system is detailed and good and so it's a good site to join if you're a UK resident. As for translating, you can try CloudCrowd as they have a lot of these jobs to offer. It's not a site but it's just a FB application, which you can post on your wall.

You can try freelance websites like Freelancer.com and Odesk.com. There are a lot of translation jobs available. You can apply for each job. But getting a job in freelancer.com and odesk.com may be little difficult because there are thousands of highly qualified translators competing you.
