For men/women(of different race) who married Filipinos. Families(of different race) with a Filipino relative. My aunt just married my uncle, he is an American citizen and is a really bubbly guy. I liked him because he tells the best jokes and is very approachable. It is my first time having a foreigner as my relative and i can recall the first time the whole family (my mother's side) met him. we had a 3-day tour in Cebu and Bohol. We all had fun but I kept on thinking how he adjusts to this new environment. Of course he had been with my aunt for a while, but it was his first time to meet the whole family too. We Filipinos are (super)happy people but we tend to be shy too, especially of a foreigner with us. I can speak good conversational English but i was a little too timid in front of him, it was really nerve-racking how your conversation would end up, will he answer me or will just mumble the words out of my mouth. Again, nerve-racking:). Anyway, i would like the opinion of those (American, Irish, etc.)who had/have Filipino families to share likewise what we need to know you or what you in return could explain to us a little about your practices inside a whole new Filipino crowd. Thank you very much:)
