Hi. I'm currently a full-time graphic designer looking for freelance jobs to earn extra money. Though I've just graduated from college a year ago, I am not new in the field of freelancing. So recently I've been signing up for online freelance jobs. The problem is none of my bid proposals ever got accepted until now. I've signed up for Odesk, Elance, Guru, Crowdspring, DirectFreelance, and some other more freelance sites, I tried to complete my profile, resume and provide samples of my works to the best I can but still they choose freelancers with experience on the site over freelancers that are new to the site. I understand that the clients want assurance but really, it's getting unfair :( Or is it because I don't write a good proposal? Can someone give me tips on what would make a good bidding proposal? I draw good but I don't write well (maybe that's the problem?). So whether you're a client looking for a freelancer or a freelancer looking for a job or both, your opinions would really be beneficial. :)
