India completed the white wash of New Zealand in ongoing one day cricket series. New Zealand thus suffered the ignominy of loosing second consecutive series white wash in less than 3 months. Winning the toss and electing to bat in fifth and final one day match New Zealand started badly loosing the wicket for the 4th ball of the match and crumbled to their lowest score of the tour 103 in 27 overs. India also started poorly loosing 2 wickets on the score of 10 but Parthiv Patel and Yuvraj Singh saw to it that there is no more casualties and romped home in just 21.1 overs. Parthiv Patel scoring 56 of 70 balls and Yuvraj making 42 of 46. Congratulations to India for scoring such fabulous win.

Yes, India completed the whitewash in style. They dominated the most in the last match of the five match series. This is very mmoriable series for the Indians as many seniors were absent and the players from reserve bench has proved their worth in the senior's absense. This is a very good sign before the upcoming world cup. The Indians couldn't let the Kiwis to pile up runs in the last match and overtook the runs within 22 overs. Congratulations!

Yeah its superb feeling to whitewash. Really team India deserve this victory. What a series it has been! Every player has contributesd to win in some way or the other way.
1. This the second time India has won 5-0 after beating England by the same margin in 2008
2. New Zealand's total of 103 is their lowest in a completed innings against India
3. India won with 173 balls to spare, which is their best against New Zealand.
Hope they keep the momentum on and wins in SA and finally brings home the World Cup 2011

Hi msdivkar,
I do not see much to cheer about the whitewashing of the kiwis by India. The indicationwas there right from the beginning and as they lost three consecutive matches there was psychological pressure on them which they finally succumbed to.

Ya definitely it was a comprehensive win over Newzealand in the fifth and the final ODI.Even though India loose the toss Indian bowlers have done a great job my making Kiwis all-out for just 103 runs.It was great to my eyes as Indian bowlers had made it tight from their sides. In reply even though India loose early wickets Yuvraj and Parthiv Patel made the victory without much damage.Once again a strong innings from the young wicket-keeper.And also good support from Yuvraj Singh as he needed the most.
