for me Christmas is nothing to do with Jesus. I am not and never have been a Christian. there are many Solar Gods whose birth is celebrated at this time of year, and he is one of them. light returns to the Earth. as I said in one of my own discussions, Christmas to non Christians isn't empty and shallow. it's a special time celebrating the love between you and your fellow human beings. and also as I said, in the classic story of a Christmas Carol, where Scrooge learns the true meaning of Christmas, religion doesn't feature. he learns that love is worth more than money and that kindness to others makes your own life happier. and for me the spirit of giving is the true meaning of Christmas. I'm not a Christian and never have been or will be one. the Pagan roots of Christmas ring more true to me than the Christian roots. but above all, Christmas is about love and giving.

I celebrate Christmas as the birthday of Christ, and as Christ born was a show of love from God, we must show our love to our family and friends that day, and enjoy as it would be the last day of our lives

For me it's the most wonderful day of the year....a time when the mood is usually up...people are happy to be getting together....and I love the music particularily at church....I love the old Christmas carols..It's a very significant day in my life.....the birth of Jesus!

For me, it's less about the fact that Jesus Christ was born on this day, but more of a time to just spend and enjoy with my family - talking, eating, exchanging gifts, etc. I enjoy it a lot, even though religion has pretty much nothing to do with it for me.

I don't celebrate the birth of Jesus in this month. I believe that there isn't exact date of his birth. However, I see this month as a month of family get together...

ell most people here in the United kingdom do not celebrate it we are happy enough too take the presents though which i think is a bit bad as most of them dont know why we celebrate christmas.I think before anyone gets any presents we should all know the story about Jesus and also we should not just take presents of people we should know why we take presents of people.Although sadly near me no one wants too learn so it will just fail and no body will really care.

Yes whatever you have said is entirely true. If not completely then to some extent or we can say partially one should definitely know the significance of the day they are celebrating and its also true that we can't force someone to learn the same.
