Do you always carry a bag when you go somewhere

I guess, this discussion would generally be related to ladies though there maybe be guys who can relate to this.
Whenever, i go out of the house to attend to something outside, i will always be carrying a bag with me to place my needed things. There are 4 things that i always carry with me , my cellphone , reading glasses , a wad of tissue paper and my wallet. Because of those 4 , i always carry with me a bag, even a small one at that. Besides, having my bag with me is an assurance that i will be okay wherever my feet will lead me to. People may find me eccentric carrying a bag always to put my much needed things, but i just really can't leave the house without it.
Do you do the same too?

Hi,
FOr me, It is depend where I am going ,then I will decide
whether to bring a bag or just a wallet will do.
If I were to go to nearby supermarket ,then I won't bring
along my bag.Just bring my wallet,then start my grocery
shopping.
Only if I were to out for shopping mall, visiting my friends or
have any meeting,then I will bring my bag along.because it is
more convenience to have a bag which I can put my wallet,handphone and
other documents needed.

Well, the size and type of my bag depends on the occasion and place where i am going. If it will just be in the supermarket, i would bring my sling body bag and put my wallet, cellphone , keys , and reading glasses. That way, my hands are free to carry those grocery bags after my shopping.

Yes I have the habit of carrying a medium sized handbag with me whenever i go out. I carry my spectacles, mobile, tissue, a small purse and a bottle of water. It comes handy when you go out as you cannot carry the items without a bag. I don't care what people think about me but at times this bag becomes a hindrance while commuting.

When i go to the office on my uniform, i would usually carry a handbag. But if i'm in pants i usually like to carry a shoulder bag . My bag depends on the occasion. LOL

I don't always carry a bag with me. Sometimes, when I have on a sweatshirt with zippered pockets, I will put my things in both pockets and just go. My cell is small enough to fit in my jeans pocket. When I am out with our daughter and we have her little girl with us, I usually just strap on a fanny pack. Then I won't be chasing a little one and worrying about a purse also. Might look dorky but works well for me. If I go out at night alone to run an errand or do something simple, I rarely take a purse. Feel as though it's a target if you know what I mean.

If I have somewhere nice to go and with my husband, I do carry a purse. I put all my identification in the other jean pocket sometimes and leave a pr. of reading glasses in my car just as a precaution. Am not working any longer so mostly I just go out and kill time!

Good for you Carol for not needing a bag when you go out. Actually, if all that i am to carry are just my cellphone and money, then i won't be needing a bag anymore when going out specially to the office. I can also just put it on the pockets of my pants.
But then, i need to carry my reading glass , hanky and tissue paper. So, i have to carry even a small one.

yes i DO.. and my bag is not that small..its like my whole cabinet is there..lol although I always think I only bring whats imporatant.. like cellphone,wallet, coin purse, tissue, umbrella haha im always ready.. pencil case and usually my laptop...
but if it is not a regular day minus my laptop..lol

You are like my officemates, always carrying big bags and they weigh so much! I would always tease them, you have your whole house with you. LOL
But my office bags are just medium sized, though, inside are lots of other things like you . .folding umbrella . . always ready for the rain! ha ha ha

yes, tissue is very important to me, so much so that all my bags always have wads of tissue so when i use them i wouldn't have to put another wad anymore. It's nice to be always prepared for the call of nature. he he he

If we are going to shopping it is good to carry a bag,otherwise on some occasions it is neccesary and other occasions it is not neccesary

On a weekdays when I go to the office, I definitely would have one. But on weekends when we go shop for our groceries, I usually don't want a bag to carry along with me. It is easier without it specially if I would be going home with a lot of grocery bags to carry. But except for this one, I usually carry a bag with me to put on my glasses, purse and cellphone.

Usually, when we will be going tot the supermarket, i would bring my small sling body bag.
That way, my wallet, cellphone and reading glasses are always with me. The body bag slung and in front of my stomach, gives me the freedom to carry those shopping bags if my husband is not with me.

I have lot of bags. I always bring bags everywhere I go. It depends on the place what bag Im using. And when Im not on the mood to wear big bags I just bring my pouch bag. Im a type of people who wants to bring everything I need. It doesn't matter how big it is. And I don't like borrowing things from the other. So I make sure that I bring all of my things with me.

Yes, you are right. The kind of bag to bring depends on the place and also the occasion to attend. Just like you , bag is very important to me, be it small or big because i could put in it all the things i may need for the occasion or the place i will be going.

Yes! I'll always have a bag with me also. I haven't leave the house before without a bag. All the stuff I would need, may it be a long trip or short, are all in my bag. I will be lost if I don't carry a bag with me since I am also bringing stuffs that I need in anywhere I go.

Correct! The bag enables us to have things with us always, needed in case of an emergency like call of nature. Like a roll of tissue paper and cellphone among other needed things to be always with us.

Yes, you are right. A bag is a must specially if you have your kids with you. Face towels, a bottle of water, toilet paper among others are the usual paraphernalia when you travel with kids.

i always carry a body bag, i cant put all my things in my pocket especially netbook hehehe, i always carrying mouthwash, perfume, tissue & netbook, i need to be fresh whole day because of my work im meeting different people everyday and there is a saying " first impression last " lol

I never carry a bag, but I may start soon - I just picked up some patterns to make bags and things and I finally think I could make a bag I wouldn't mind carrying.
Usually I have all my essentials in my pockets - an inhaler, a wallet, a handkerchief and my car keys. That's all I need really, anything else is a bonus.

Yeah, and a lot of women have back problems either caused by or compounded by their bags. It's a bad thing to carry a lot of change since there's so much weight in it, and on top of all the things that you have in a bag like that, it can cause you to twist and your back will get pains trying to compensate.
I have a trapped nerve at the moment between my shoulders so even when I do need to carry a bag (like my laptop work bag) I have to plan my journey carefully so I have the ability to put the bag down or rest it. Otherwise I have to take painkillers that can affect my judgement and ability to drive so that has to be a last resort.
The bag pattern I have picked out is a tiny one that'll just be big enough for my essentials so that I don't have to bring a coat when I want to wear my nice pocketless pants to work. Hopefully I can put one together over the holidays if I have enough time.

I feel convenient when i go somewhere if i carry my bag out.I could put something important in it and they are the necessities for me.So,i just can't leave it at home,and maybe most of women will do the same thing as me,bags are really important for women.lol..

Correct! A bag is a necessity for a woman most specially. You can bring all your needed paraphernalia in it. And a bag sometimes completes the get-up too.

Trust me I can't leave home with out a bag. A bag for me is like a detachable organ.
I never can travel light. I always want everything in my bag. There is always a pad even if I'm not having my monthly.

I think you are just like me, always prepared for any eventuality. My contains a small flashlight in case of brownout while taking a tricycle ride to our house and for other emergencies.

Yes, those guards poking at our bags are sometimes irritating. But we just have to comply, because they are just doing their duty and it's for our own good. . .for those bomb threats.

Even though I don't think i suit for this question but I do feel that it is great to have a bag along with you. Imagine girls can keep alot of thing in their bags without worrying stuffing them in the pocket etc etc. My girl, same with you, cant leave home without a bag unless just going out to drive through buying supper at McD.

It depends on what I'm wearing and where I'm going, actually: if my outfit has pockets I use those, since I usually don't carry much around (my phone, my wallet, my house keys, and some tissues). If I have to walk just a short distance (for example, going to the bakery that's close to my apartment to buy some bread) then I don't take a bag either.
On the other hand, if I'm spending the whole day out or I'm away for a long while (or if I'm wearing pants/skirt with no pockets), then I take my bag.

for a ladies looks like its a must. but for me as a man, i need it too. i always bring my bag (backpack). i always bring water and this bag is to save my jacket because when i go outside with motorcycle i always use jacket. and i often bring my laptop.

Me too...me too.. I just can't go without my bag. I feel incomplete without it.I remember some friends who have noticed this.That was the time I became conscious about it. So, I tried going out without my bag and that I found out that I just can't be so confident without it. All the things that I need are there, my cellphone, my charger, my wallet,pop-up tissue paper, cologne, ball pen,notepad, prayer book and a rosary.

We almost have the same things in our bag, except for the charger. In my wallet inside the bag , i have a tiny prayer book, which serves as my guard to my wallet. LOL!
