Sucker punch! I didn't see that coming!

I was traveling in a train from my hometown to Kolkata, a 37 hour journey. There was a a family of three, parents and a 10 year old daughter was sitting across me. At dinner time as I prepared to have my Insulin shot, the girl asked me "Uncle! can't you live without that?" I said no. She then launched a massive lecture on drugs and drug addiction and "Bad" people like me and how we are ruining the society and all other things which I suspect have nothing to do with poor me and my Insulin. I mean, my Insulin dependency has nothing to do with a bank heist. That left me sweating. I think Hitler would look an angel compared to her picture of me. Now, every time I take a shot, I have tremors of the laughing kind. A pesky but gutsy girl though!

sounds like my 13 year old, although once the rant is over, she would listen to the reasons and understand the necessity...

She may be gutsy but is very ill informed. This is so typical of so much of human communication. We all tend to go off half cocked with only a small portion of the information. Have and great laugh, you can never get enough of that. Blessings

we did have a good laugh. And yes I told her about Diabetes. She is too young to understand, but maybe she will in future.

The lady was shell shocked and the man was beaming in pride. After the tirade, she started to scold her daughter and he took care to explain my condition.
Where did she know many of what she said from?
