mylot discussion on the web. if it opens people can change your paypal?

do you know that some discussions we open here in mylot can appear as the first hit of a search engine? yup! mine did and it sort of freaked me out. i can access my information and that includes everything including my paypal.
does this mean others can claim my earnings?

Hello friend,
Others who aren't on myLot accessing our information is really freaky. As long as it is restricted to discussions,etc I really don't mind, as it is helping someone with information. However, if it comes down to paypal, it is a bit more personal. However, I still don't think this can happen. In your case, probably you were signed into myLot in one tab and then opened the search results in another tab in the same browser. That might be the reason why you saw all the information, as it was practically you being signed into your account only.

No-one can see any of our personal information and if we log out, then we do not see it ourselves either.

Where did you search your profile? If you don't log out on your computer and you searched it there, there's a big chance you might end up hitting your profile info while being logged in on mylot.

No one can see your paypal information, even other mylot members, unless you put your paypal info in a discussion.

Yeh mylot normally ranks really high in search rankings as it is a popular information source with discussions plus it gets a lot of views to discussions really quickly.You could probably see your payment info because you were logged in your account try doing it again and logging out this time if it still show the information then i suggest you talk and email the admin.
