why does it so hard to commit with God?

everyday i make a promise that i will give all to my God-in everything i do. but it is hard when the ego is arise. would u do anything for God? can u leave aside your ego?

No trick to make it easier..it all depend on our-self. I believe if we set in mind to do something we surely do it, if we already decide not to than nothing going to happen.

well, i guess i have to believe in my self that i can do it better and better. i had decided, but it never last for a long time. maybe i need some reminder so i can commit to God

The thing about making a commitment to God is that it really shouldn't be based on your own effort. When you give your life to God, you don't rely on your own abilities or your own willpower. Rather, you should let God work through you. What's your specific situation?

don't you think that we have to make some effort to do it. if we just wait the god work, than i might wait forever. or if that happen, that could be a miracle. and miracles are very very rare to happen.

The reason why we fail when we do things on our own is also God's way to let us know how much we need him. Yes we do an effort but always with his blessing and to say that trusting in him will take forever or a miracle is already doubt and doubt is one of the things that make us far from God.

We all face the same battles with 'the old man of sin' but "with God all things are possible." Matt. 19:26 I just take things day by day and sometimes moment by moment. I pray a lot and feed my soul with lots of spiritual food. I stay away from things that will hurt me spiritually and trust that God will give me the power to do anything, even lay down my life for Him if it ever comes to that. God has promised us the grace we need to meet any emergency.

ida relax and let God work through you as he will tell you what to do and you will realize it whether you think it was your own thinking or a message from him. It is not hard to do if you relax as he is a loving God not an Ogre.I would not do anything for God as anything could mean bad things and that will not bring you close to God.Relax and let God' in.

Apparently, it not only becomes your problem ifa. Everyone must have experienced the same thing. I also experienced it. Very difficult, to run the religious orders. Although there have been the intention, the ego and lazy defeat our intentions.

it is hard. i also face the same things with you. i try to read my Al-Quran to ease my ego. reminds me there is the life afterdeath which will ask my responsbility for all the things that i have done

Reading alquran can make you in peace. those words also comfort me and make me realize that we can't follow or ego all the time. we live and die for Him

Indeed sometimes, ego conquers all. I myself, very hard against the ego. Everything I do, always hoping for the Lord. But I am sometimes very difficult, to always keep. Sometimes the severity of the problems I face, made me rule out God.

Perhaps you are too hard on yourself. It is a learning experience. You can't be expected to be perfect or know all the answers before the lesson is done. Be who you must! It's a part of the plan!! Learn along the way!!
