I'm finding Facebook boring....don't you?

I was just surfing through FB and seeing the same old thing, sure I could contact my friends and see their status for the day but it's getting redundant, accepting or rejecting friend requests, yeah we comment but usually the comments are just jokes and we really don't touch topics that are important anymore and the games are also getting boring....I guess I'm just amazed that most of my friends play and update their status on FB but decline myLot, because it's "boring".....
Well, even if this site doesn't pay, the interaction here seems real than in other social sites! Maybe they like to just fool around and not use their internet time for better use!

I think so. Maybe it is time to give up facebook because i do not like the games. They are collecting some personal data and that's not good for privacy. Maybe I will quit facebook.
PS: The best thing is that they make insane amounts of money out of us facebook users and do not share it with us. Let's hope that on day facebook will go down and never come back!

I agree on you Buxtime. Facebook has helped lots of people promote their sites, products, and other things. It also has become a platform for other money-making sites like Cloud Crowd where I earn a decent amount. Also in the facebook has become the meeting place for people with the same interest. Right now, I am in a group of investors in doublers, and kooday, where I can get help from my fellow members. I think there are lots of people who have not discover the benefits of using facebook.

well, those who are on my facebook are only my real friends: my school friends, university friends and the like. So for me it's still interesting to know their status because it shows their activities and giving comment to it will show them how much we care about them. Even when I have not met my friends for months or even years, we feel so close still because we keep in touch and keep caring about each other. However I find that this sites is also interesting. I regret that I just know this site too late. that's why I start to tell my friends about this site. SO I thing both sites are interesting in different way.

Yeah. I only log in to Facebook once in a while and stay logged in only for a few minutes. I used to spend more time in Facebook playing games and chatting with friends, but the novelty of the Facebook games quickly wore off on me and I see the same people online everyday I don't feel like chatting anymore. In fact I don't go online on Facebook chat anymore. I still have my messenger if I'd like to chat with my friends anyway.

I have answered several posts regarding facebook recently. A lot of people have been finding facebook not as great as it is made out to be.
I myself have never really found the controls very user friendly and haven't ever been able to make my page on facebook the way I really want it. I know that you can post all kind of things on your facebook page like your business links and webpage links and that is how I got started using facebook but the only thing I have really gotten out of it is finding some old friends and updating it seems like so much of a hassle.
I also agree with you about the comments I get; they are mostly just nonsense and I have never really seen what the craze is all about for facebook,
I have a lot more fun here on mylot and find it a relaxing release from my frustrations of the day. I can come here and reply to interesting topics and even learn things if I need to. All I need to do is start a discussion and there are plenty of good people on here that are willing to help me with an answer to my question no matter what it is.
You know, I can't get into twitter either. I have never really figured that site out at all. Maybe I am not giving them a chance but they are just so uninteresting.

Since I started Mylot and Mypage 5, I also find Facebook boring and useless... Though we could communicate with old friends and relatives in FB, but we could not express what we feel through blogging and discussions... I'm enjoying now exercising my mind through writing than playing games in fb...

My all coworkers and friend from Collage and Universities are using facebook and some of them are now working and living abroad so right now its an routine email checking kind activity for me.
But I want to utilize my time which I spent on internet and for that purpose right now I am searching some new ways. I just recently join mylot but right now I am in the learning phase and I have to learn all the features mylot is presenting and I am looking how it will work for me in real way.

Sometimes when your friends and family members share some pictures or there own videos for you then you have to use whatever they are asking you to use. am I right?

I never even signed up for facebook until this year! Some of my friends and family had moved away and it was a great way to keep in touch. Before that I thought it was for kids. Then when Id meet people they would always ask me if I was on fb. I decided to try it. At first it was fun to have people you havent talked to in years contact you. Then came the drama. People fighting and saying terrible things about each other. Its very easy to get sucked in. I have vented a few times myself. The worst is those games like yoville, farmville etc. I had set it up so I would recieve alerts everytime someone left me a message and had a link for my job. If someone needed me they could get me through fb as well. It then became that I would recieve tons of messages that such and such wants to send me a pig to start my farm or sent me a couch to start on yoville. Others sent things about the mafia or sent me cupcakes for some baking thing. As if that wasnt irritating enough I then kept getting messages with peoples comments on things such as I love football if you do too let me know. TOO much crap for me. I hardly go on now. I do check it daily to make sure there isnt anything derrogatory on it. Its Not something Im going to let myself get sucked into. I dont care who thinks who is a B*tch or what your sign is. SOrry FB but Im not the one. Happy MyLotting friend dl

I really enjoy Facebook. I don't think it's boring. But, it is because I live so far away from many of my friends and family. I live in my town pretty much all alone, except for my husband and sons. I love Facebook because it reconnects me with everybody I am so far away from. It has become very important to me. I know more about my family and friends now because of it.

I feel the same about Facebook. I joined a few years ago and, aside from contacting a couple of long lost relatives and friends I don’t find there is very much to do there especially because I don’t play the games. I prefer MyLot any time!

I share the same feeling with facebook but you have to create a trend if your going to use facebook for income purposes socializing with a lot of people is one big step before you can introduce your plan to refer them to your online income ventures. Its the new trend and mind you 500 million people on facebook could not be taken for granted.

I don't spend that much time on facebook. Normally like an hour a day. There was a point where all I did was play Prolific but I haven't played that game in months. I played Farmville for a little bit, but I really saw no point in it. So I quit that application. I can't believe people actually spend money on things on facebook. That boggles my mind. I like seeing my friends updates and that's the main reason I go on facebook. I'm always afraid I'm going to miss someone's engagement or wedding. I think facebook and myLot are very different and serve different purposes.

I don't log in to my fb account anymore.Everyone will comment on your status that you put in fb account. You will know the status of your friends.Your friends will know where in the world you are.You have to upload some of the pictures.I make sure all the pictures are all private.I don't play those games in fb because it will take much of or waste of my time.

Well even though I don't visit Facebook regularly as I do not play games there and I also don't do much things around, but I still appreciate that it is exist and I'm able to visit it anytime I can so I can find out if my friends and family are doing well and happy whenever I'm far away from them. That is the only reason really why I wanted a Facebook account. I don't really mind about my friends who are not very active there though I can see them playing games everyday because I'm not very active myself. Have a nice day

I added more friends in my fb list, most of them are mature, and share some thing precious for people. When ever i share my articles, whether in other's site or my lot, they always appreciate for effort, i think we should have mature friends rather to make immature people friend.
