Laughter acts as an oasis amidst so many sorrows of life. A moment of laughter sometimes makes us forget a sad incidence of life & also makes a joyous moment. So we should all enjoy laughter & this should be done for our own interest. There are people who do not like any sort of laughter. They should be made to understand that laughter has also a definite positive role in life. Do you agree?

I think that there are alot of people out there that tend to hide behind smiles as well as laughter, as that is the only way they can hide how they are really feeling.I think that there have been times in the past that perhaps we have all hiden behind them, i know i have.

I do agree, I think that having laughter as a part of our lives is something that is very important in our lives. That said, I also think that we should make an effort to find humor in many things during the course of our lives. I've found that I am able to find a little something that is funny about almost everything that I encounter in my life and I think that fact has had a very positive impact on the person that I am today.

Yeah I agree. Laughing helps to us to destress and it improves our emotional well-being, so I don't see anything wrong with laughter. Some people are just more reserved, so maybe they dont laugh out loud all the time :X But I do agree that laughter is good , as the saying goes " Laughter is the best medicine ".
When I make a mistake, I try not to be too hard on myself, and try to laugh at myself for my silly mistakes and improve myself. That way, I can learn from my mistakes.
Happy myLotting to you!! :)

Laughter is indeed important in our lives regardless of us being healthy or sick. Laughing makes us happy and with our mood lifted, we tend to think better too. It's better to have a positive outlook in life than negative for being negative will give us unnecessary pressure and stress. A good laugh might be hard to come by, but as long as we are able to break into a smile, it's a good start.

It certainly does. I love to laugh. I can remember silly times with my friends and my kids. Silliness. Goofy. A goofah or two. I am watching White Christmas and Danny Kaye is such a card. Love him. I have alot of favorite comedians. George Carlin, Woopi Goldberg, Robin WIlliams, and the guys from Monty Python.

There are people with diseases who are unable to laugh and some people with emotional disorders who are unable to laugh. I don't think people should be forced to laugh even though, I agree that it does make me feel good too. There are many different people in life and some people are unable to find the reason to laugh... so I would'nt force it on anyone but rather understand where they come from to make them comfortable so that they can laugh one day with us.

There's a verse in the Bible that talks about a "Merry heart does good like a medicine." I have heard of stories where someone was sick and just watched crazy movies all day and before they knew it they were actually better. I believe it is good for the soul to laugh!

You need it to make your life happy. it makes your life easy and simple. I think laughter is a symbol of emotions. and emotions help us to express ourselves to others. Which is must be important in life.

laugh it can eliminate the sadness that befell our lives and it makes us feel calm. but do not laugh exaggerated because it is not good for us. because laughter is carried out when when we are happy and excited. and whether you may laugh at when things are quiet and alone? do not, so laugh a particular moment.

I love laughter! I laugh at almost everything. It is a shame that some people can't enjoy the laughter. They say laughter is the best medicine. I believe that to be true. When my grandmother passed away earlier this year, all I could do was laugh. Not because I'm a cold-hearted snake, but because all we did was sit around and remember all the fun times we had with her. It was our way of healing. Laughing about all the times we had game day at her house and her funny way of playing like she didn't understand stuff. I think if you forget to laugh, then you forget to live. There are 3 L words I live by. LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE.........

I absolutely agree what you said above. We should intend to laugh more and avoid those frown faces. I like to laugh, and make some good joke once in a while. We should keep us happier, and make every situation optimistic, rather than pessimistic. Life just like that.
