Can aspiring help cancer?

I performed a search, but it doesn't seem anyone started a discussion on this. Anyways, I was reading through some articles when I found this: http://bit.ly/dO8Y9W I don't know how true it is, since I'm not too well educated in the ways of science and health, and no newspapers I've read here in Ireland seem to have reported it. However, it does say it was a fact found by UK researchers, so could someone in the UK maybe let me know if it's in the news? If it is a true study being reported on, then I think that provides a huge benefit to people who want to avoid getting cancer. Though the idea of bleeding out from aspirin overdose is kinda scary...
