Putting God first

We wake up every morning, do our morning routine, go to work, go back home and feel exhausted at the end of the day. Sometimes even to bed we keep thinking on the things that we have not completed and feel unsatisfied for the day. This has been my life before until I started putting God first a few months back. When I wake up in the morning I spend a few minutes of my time to pray and to thank God for giving me another day to fulfill his will. I feel energetic and excited each and every new day and I noticed that things around me start to fall into their proper places and time. How about you? Do you put God first in your life?

After feading your article,I think it may be a good method, indeed, the modern people can easily feel tired, our brain every day in the continuous operating with thinking over this problem and to move to the next one, perhaps that we will receive spiritual calm, then we can understand the beauty of life!

Hi sy0712. It definitely helps to spend just a few minutes of your day to pray and give thanks to God for taking you where you are now in your career or studies or life in general. Appreciating the little things we have in life really makes a difference and helps us see that there is indeed beauty in life. God bless you.

hi crisdel,
I know how it feels when God is in your life. I had a classmate before who is close with God and honestly, I feel so happy when I talk with Him about the goodness of God.I cannot say I am that religious person but what I am sure to say is I am a weak person. I keep it in my mind that I must always pray before I go to bed and after I wake up. I am doing it most of the time but my heart is not with it. I hope that thing will change and I can have friends who can led me to the way to God.

Hello annierose. I'm happy to read your comment. There are times also that although we pray but we do it in haste. Most of the time this happens when we are thinking of many things and do not focus on the prayer. By clearing up your mind and relaxing you will begin to really focus on your prayer and put your heart into it. God bless you.

I think that's a lovely idea, so thanks for sharing. It's nice to be able to pray to G-d when things are rough, because I see Him as a source of comfort, and that I'm not alone. I think I'll follow your suggestion, and spend time for a prayer in the morning and ask Him for guidance and wisdom.
G-d bless you

Thanks also Masihi. It does really help when you take time to pray and guidance in the morning. Aside from spiritual growth, good things comes into your mind also which has positive effect towards your work and daily tasks. God bless you too.

It's very easy to get caught up in our routines & forget about the creator. Even when praying, asking forgiveness and thanking God for all we have to be thankful for....are we really living our lives in a way that reflects that type of attitude?
I'm guilty of being distracted by life.

hi cridel12,
honestly speaking, our parents brought us together to have faith in god. Every morning and evening we never forget to pray, it's like our daily routine. Put God first before everything and before everything gets busy with the daily works. It's a great fulfillment to pray always and we never forget God because without him we are nothing and we are not here in this beautiful world.

God must be at the center of our life everyday for He guides us in our daily life. A simple thank you prayer in the morning when we wakes up and before hitting bed at night will make us feel better and secured, far from any untoward incidents. God love us so we have to love Him much.

I guess I'm a little different. Since I'm not a morning person, it takes a little time to get everything running in the morning. Once I get things going, I'm afraid God has to hear it all day long til I'm back in bed sleeping again. When God gets to where He's tired of hearing it all, He just gives me something interesting to think about. Sometimes, it takes days to figure it all out, however I learn lots.
