Some people told me that everyone should get the Chickenpox. The more older you'll get, the more irritating the disease would be like, it will be more itchy, more difficult for the blot to be gone.
However, up until to date, I haven't got this Chickenpox (I don't know why since I had purposely being around or close with my friends who got Chickenpox, but still I didn't get infected) and I wonder is that true what people said as above?

This is true. I wouldn't say that you should get the chicken pox, but if you don't get it as a child, it can be very painful and uncomfortable as an adult.
I had it as a child, and I can remember feeling quite ill. But my wife got is a few years ago, and she was very ill with it and it took her quite some time to get over it. The chicken pox virus never leaves your system then and later it life, you could get shingles, that is caused by the chicken pox virus. I have not had that, but a friend of mine has and he said it was very painful. So that's why I say, it best not to get it at all. There are some people who go through their entire lives without ever getting the chicken pox. _Derek

My understanding is that the older you are and experience the chicken pox it is much more health hazardous and more severe. I read this on wikipedia where it says it is rarely fatal but much more difficult to deal with it.
Here is the link which I find very helpful:

It could be no big deal really. Some people never get it because they get vaccinated to prevent getting the Chickenpox. It doesn't mean you can't get them. Sure as you get older its harder for your body to deal with them because your body doesn't know what to make of it. If you haven't gotten a chickenpox vaccination yet you should probably talk to a doctor about getting one and seeking more expert advise on this kind of subject.
