Hello Lotters, Last night, I was able to go the hospital because I bought the payment fee since they aren't allowed to leave unless my nephew gets paid for the expenses. I went there around six to seven in the evening, they were already expecting me in the elevator. after that, i gave my brother the money and i stayed in JC's Room (Nephew). the things are packed already. When they are at the entrance, they left first with my brother's friends car, but since it's full, He (brother) and I just commute. I went back home around eight in the Evening, enough time to Bet on a lottery. My sis (Jaiho) was right, It wasn't my fault at all. I talked to my mom and said that the families snack started before six?. In her opinion, they should have had snack inside the house, and not outside. probably it was getting dark that nephew didn't see this man hole that was dig out a few days ago(for cleaning) and fell. but now they closed it. I guess if i did not come to the even, not only i would have ruined my day for not being with the Mylotters, i would have a bad day going with the family to the hospital instead of going home. case closed. he's resting now, probably not allowed to join games in school. To THose who have prayed for my Nephew. Thank you Very Much.

hello Letran, Good to think that you are now relieve with all the worries. See the good side of it,the officials (in your place) closed the manhole. Lessons for them (barangay officials or whoever project is that)if it's an open manhole used to repair for a project, you can file a case for their negligence. It is not allowed to leave a manhole open without any signs or warnings like a secured yellow ribbon as a warning to passersby. D*mn people for their carelessness (crap). Your nephew looks cute...

Hello Jaiho (sis), Yeah, they did. probably if my nephew didn't fell in, they wouldn't close that man hole in the first place. they opened it for cleaning but didn't bother closing it backwell,he is cute my relatives from the US loves him the most for being too entertaining. the difference is that he's taller a bit than zayzay

Kids are like that, especially boys, they love to do adventurous things. My 8-year old would climb on a railing and walk across it and it will scare me, thinking he'll fall. He hasn't gotten hurt, thank G♥d, but I hate it when he does these things.

Hello Carmel, Yes, he is. very energetic and entertaining but i wish he would have just followed simple instructions not for him to get into trouble. sometimes it's just hard to do things that makes the kids get into trouble. am sure they won't get their kids out of their sight once they are already outside/

there are nice board games for kids that the family can play together so that he wouldn't miss much on physical games the entire holidays.

Hello Myles, Well, he's completely off from games this christmas season because of what happenedi guess this injury will slow himself down from being rowdy. i think he fell from the canal because he followed his grand pa when he should have seated down like his mom told him so ants in the i guess.

Hi Letran! It is good to hear that your Nephew is alright. I'm very happy that it wasn't anything too serious. He is young and will heal quickly and will forget about it soon too. Don't think about how it happened or why, just be glad that it wasn't worse than it turned out. I am happy that he is home with your family again.

Hello Opal, Yes, it wasn't but to the family, it was very hard enduring since we never really had this much experience before. well, i only hope he doesn't forget about it since we don't want that happening again. I still believe there was still negligence some where and not just the local government unit.

hi letran wow that could have been alot worse I g uess for your poor nephew so he must be a lot better. so it was dark and he fell fronm the manhole left uncovered, somebody was very careless and should have o comed up with the funds to repay you for the money you put out.Yes he will probably not be able to join games at school for awhile.I was just remembering when I was pregnant with my son I had been in Gold waters store to buy some socks, and as I was eight and a half months pg I could not always see something on the floor. I stepped on something really slippery , lost my balance and down i went on my butt all of me and baby o come. Instead of helping me to my feet, here came the manager and his assistant with a paper and a pen. It was a paper that said I wo uld absolve the store of any fault. When I refused to sign it, an old man who must have been 80 or more came over to me, pushed the manager aside and helped me to my feet and led me over to a chair. I was crying from both nerves and fear that I might have hurt my unborn baby. and he was so kind to me. I learned later he was the father of Barry gold water who was the manager. the elder Gold water told me if I had any problems with the delivery of my child my husband was to call him and he would pay for any other bills. He called my husband who came with our pickup and drove me to the er just to be checked but I was fine. and my son was born with no problem but when we went to pay the co pay it had already been paid as the elder Mr. Goldberry was very ashamed of how his son the manager had treated me.

Helo Hatley, Well, at least your son was born and he paid for his son's stupidity.from my point of view, that was the most insensitive thing i have ever heard from a man. which i strongly doubt he's a man. that's a thing in the past, poor this person if he hadn't regret the things he did to you.

I am so glad that you're nephew is alright. It must have cost them a lot just for some small trouble of him falling from the canal. you're nephew should learn his lesson from now on. I think it needs strong disciplinary measures just to make him obey rules. these kind of trouble can be avoided if only he listened, but there's also trouble from the government.

Hello mikaela, I think he would but there's still problem with him following instructions I went there this afternoon. Her Grandma kept telling her to sleep because he got a slight fever but he refuse to listen. because she was massaging his legs to know if he can move, knowing that the bones wasn't effected, probably it's the sensation

I am very behind with my notifications which explains why I am responding now! I missed responding your previous discussion but I am very grateful that your nephew is fine. A man hole left unattended and open is very dangerous and the consequence could have been much worse so Thank God he’s okay! I read in your responses that the hole has been sealed now and that is great to hear! Glad JC will be okay for Christmas!

That's a relief, but i think it was better off that next time the kids stay inside. if they are hard headed kids then, it's optioned not to let them off the house, even for a snack with out some one accompanying them. I have read that depressive discussion of yours and i can feel the pain but remember, it's not you're fault.

Hello Jean. Yeah, i mean, they should in the first place since public utilities aren't often fix as fast as they should be.. well, I am way better now than ever, i do hope that some day they are too close and too careful babysitting those two. i can't bear to see them suffer more since it's Christmas

I am glad you're nephew is fine there. that's something that shouldn't happen again, but still the kids should remain at home from now on. i believe he has negligence to follow instructions, sometimes kids with energetic themes can really cause them trouble.

Hello nobody4me, Well, he's a kid and they tend to need discipline just before they could follow such i agree, that shouldn't happen. imagine the trauma it could take if indeed he is seriously injured I really don't want these things to happen again. that's what happens when you're unprepared for family.

Hello Letranknight. I saw your discussion on your nephew's trip to the hospital a few days ago and I wanted to respond but was too busy then. My suspicions were correct, it was an open manhole. You should speak to the local officials (a.k.a. the baranggay) because that was just plain negligent. No open manhole should be left unattended. If your nephew were a little shorter or younger, he might have broken his bones or worse, drowned down there. The reason I am interested in this topic was because a few years back, my friend also fell in a manhole near EDSA. She was with our other classmates and they were just dropped off by a classmate whom they hitched a ride from. The manhole was being repaired and water was overflowing. They were navigating the flood when she fell right into the hole. It was lucky that she only fell up to her waist because she was able to hold the side of the manhole. I remember we had a good laugh about it the following day, but come to think of it, we should not have done that. She could have suffered injuries like your nephew. my point is that a little negligence ended up costing you thousands of pesos. If only the people who were repairing the hole took some time to cover it up, your nephew would not have ended up banged-up and needing stitches.

Hello Advocate, Yeah, right after that, they called the Barangay and had it completely sealed off. i think this has been one of the government problems is negligence to finish the job quickly unless some body gets into trouble.but i can say, there was negligence on the side of the family, since they know that kid doesn't follow instructions since their mom is not around, they shouldn't have snack out side.

Hello Bhabycat, Oh, He'd better not disobey again. I mean that simple fall cost the family two hundred dollars that we had to loan it from a friend just for them to exit the hospital grounds. i hope the kid has learn his lesson about being careful where he walked into. better yet following instructions.
