Jealousy exists in all kind of relationships and at all levels-friendship,family,neighbor,group and community. Jealousy in love affairs is very common. A recent survey reveals that women are found proportionately more jealous than men. Fear of loss, feeling of insecurity, loneliness, sadness, and fear of losing something important may be some of the causes of jealousy. What are your viewpoints and experiences?

I think people become jealous because they are immature emotionally and insecure. And, yes, fear of loss enters into it as well. I used to be very jealous when younger but as I grew older I became more secure and knew myself and human nature better and quit being quite so jealous.

Greetings :)
I think this jealously is really rooted in our human nature. Men/Women always want more that is why everybody gets jealous. Even the rich and famous get jealous and they pretty much have everything or can buy anything. Women just get jealous faster because there are more women then men in the world so, that means competition is stiff. If you want to know why there are more women in the world then men blame all the wars the world has had.
Anyways, I hope this contributed well in the discussion.
Have a nice day :)

Well for me as i experience.
Honestly i am being jealous because i want to be that person or because i want more attraction than th others.
Jealousy for me is caused by lack of attention and too much desire for something.
I hoped you understand my post.
Thanks for posting.
Happy mylotting. :)
