What causes a person to tell a lie?

Circumstances and back personal history. A person tells a lie for many reasons. Not to hurt someones feeling, not to get in trouble, not to look stupid in public and the list goes on and one. Once you get used to lying it is hard to stop. It is best not to start it in the first place. Use tact and be someone people admire and respect.

i feel that people lie to escape punishments especially children and when it comes to elder people i feel dat dey lie to live a show off life dey want to boast about things which they generally dont have nd thus result in speaking lies :D

For be as a human being its just normal to tell lies because its a part of our life that we cannot erase. I believe that all people living in the world have committed lie. Generally a person should not lie and a person should always tell the truth to avoid sins. But actually nowadays making lies do not matter. For me lack of faith and being scared is one of the most things that make a person to tell a lie. I hope my post give you a lesson. Thanks for posting. Happy mylotting :)
