do any of u mylotters have ur mylot notifications set to ur yahoomail? i do and it makes it so much easier for me to respond to discussions etc. although i have ALOT of unread email notifications of discussions from mylot that i have not responded to yet. i have alittle over 15,000 notifications from mylot so far that i have not responded to. i think that its much much easier to respond to mylot discussions from using yahoomail. because if u check the past days/weeks/months etc. emails notifications u will know for sure which discussions have not been deleted and more friends u have on mylot the more yahoo emails u will get. so i am pretty thankful about that

I have my yahoo one in tact with myLot and I got to tell you I love the notification. I am able to reply and check on myLot where ever I go. This helps me spend my free time and even help others. Indeed, get the notification from myLot asap! It works like miracle :)

I've been using yahoomail for like ages! I love who easy the site is and it separates the mail it thinks that is scams! I haven't gotten any bad experiences of bad review about the yahoomail because I think it is useful to everyone. I think you guys should try using the yahoomail and the registration is so easy! You can also chat with your friends there or even sending a txt message for your friends! It has really many uses for me. :)

I love it too--especially the feature that separates all the spam. I feel more secure giving out my email address because of that feature. And I agree that it's great for getting mylot notifications, too--makes it much easier to manage your discussions.

Certainly yes. It does make organising easy and saves a lot of time. I have notifications on now and getting all unlike previously when I was not.

i use gmail for mylot..and i dont have any difficulty using it...i have also got about 850 mails but still i have not deleted...if i write mylot in mailbox search...i get all mylot discussions...so i dont have any problem, i just start with the friends who respond to me and so i don't have to sort much...i just go with the most familiar names who respond to my discussions so i attend them first...

If you have 15,000 unread notifications, how do you consider it being easier to manage? Isn't having that many unanswered emails pretty much evidence that you haven't managed them? As you can see, I'm confused by your declaration.

i know that having that many notifications is hard to manage.. i wasnt saying that it was easy.. i was just saying that it makes it so that i will know if a discussion will get deleted and and it lets me know what is happening on mylot. i know i have slacked off with responding to the unread notifications but it makes it so that i will respond when im ready to respond it also makes it so that i wont forget about the discussions that people have made. im just trying to respond to as many as i can

15,00o?? that would flip me over the edge. how can you know if its getting over run and throwing good ones in your spam? as it is, i dont even have my mylot notifications come to my yahoo. i have a different email for this. but when i go to yahoo mail, i often have several emails in spam there. if i miss one day theres like 100 plus in spam.

yeah over 15,000 its a crazy amount. i have pretty often times seen some mylot notifications leaked into my spam folder. my spam folder always has random emails, but i dont get as many emails sent to my spam folder than u do

Yes, I agree that it is best to get myLot notifications. I get mine into hotmail, which is the e-mail address I registered with for myLot. It works the same as Yahoo mail, and I do have a Yahoo mail account but I used that for different tasks, like other business I run and private friends that I know off-line as well as on-line. Email, makes your life a lot easier and orgnaized. _Derek

I have mine sent to my gmail account and if I am away from home sometimes I have to just delete them all when I come back because I cannot deal with a stockpile of thousands of notifications. But I think that the notification feature is simply wonderful. I answer all that I reasonably can.

Oh yes it's great especially if you set up mail filters for everyone. I have more than a dozen folders so if you setup a folder for each of your friend you can set it to be delivered to a particular username. It's up to you.
I'm kinda surprised about the 15,000 notifications! Wow, how are you able to keep up with that? Anyway as long as you enjoy responding to discussions, it wouldn't to much work.
I rarely post here in myLot so it's impossible for me to keep up. Have nice day!

I also have a lot of back dated discusion like this one whick is dated about 5 months old. lol. I chouse to use my yahoo mail becase of unlimtied storage space.

Yes i have enabled the mylot notifications,it's very useful for me.I can know if someone responded to my discussion or if i got a friend request, what's today's top discussion and so on...
So i always know whats going on.
There was a time when i got so many e-mails,they just keep coming. It was very frustrating but i set up a few filters and the problem solved.
So it can be very useful but it can be frustrating also when hundred of e-mail s come daily.

it really is tough to catch up with all of the responding and stuff it takes alot of time if u have alot of them.. i can see why u would quit using the notifications to have sent to ur email

Whoa! I've never tried that thing. I'm not receiving such notifications. o I need to enable it or some kind of account setting? If ever, can someone tell me how?

I send my notifications to AOL, and I have a filter that puts them in a myLot folder so that they don't clutter up my regular inbox. sometimes it gets too overwhelming though.

I think it is great that I get notifications from Mylot! What I don't like is half of the notications end up on spam which I end up moveing to my in box! That I don't like and don't know why that happens! It been going on for along time! GR!

WOAH! 15000 notifications??!! How can you possibly read them all? Is it because you set your profile settings here to check all? Well, for me, I only check 2 boxes and I use Gmail, which is also quite good. Basically, all the mail systems are quite the same. I seldom use my Yahoomail so I don't know.

I actually don't use my yahoo email account because I don't particularly care for it. I, instead, choose to access email through outlook because I find that is a lot easier for me to deal with and I also feel that it is much more convenient. That said, I don't have most of my notifications turned on because they tend to drive me insane. I will respond to what I am able to while I am on the site and as for anything that I might miss, I'm sorry, but I'm only one person and I can't work miracles.

Those email notifications are just great, I use them a lot to keep in sync with my topics and responses. But webmail is useless for that, as you still have to manually check your inbox to get that.
Much better idea: setup your mail account in Outlook, then make Outlook display popups notifications in the desktop, just seconds after receiving the notifications. So you have to do virtually nothing, and it automatically notifies you. Nice, don't think? You may use any mail account you have, as long as it supports POP3.
But 15000 notifications? Aren't those too much? I has 730 in 4 months of posting here.

Getting email notifications from mylot is the best. You make money so easily because responding to discussions just becomes part of checking your email everyday...although now it sometimes takes me 2 hours to get through all the email each day!
