I only write for mylot, Triond and Associated Content. I know that Triond will not accept anything that has been published elsewhere. I find that if the article is something that I need upfront payment for on AC, then I can just change the wording and title and post on Triond as well. However, there are articles that I would have to change the whole thing and it would not be worth it.

Aye. After reading your thought of doom, I also thought of Associated Content.
Also look into Demand Media. (demandstudios.com). For me that pays the best, but you have to find an article amongst their suggestions you feel you can write (and of course go by their guidelines). Albeit, if you can think of some How To's or perhaps other things you can suggest that to them.
The DM pay varies from one time $3.00 up to I think $30.00 . But if you get a revenue share article that brings in a recurring amount. I might have 2 o 4 rev. share and right now I average about $15 / month on those.

At least with Bukisa, you can, but Helium is very particular, they want original content and it doesnot matter whether you authored those articles, once they have been published in other sites, Helium is likely to reject it!

Thank you, I am seriously thinking as to if I should continue with Helium after the change to payments, so I could perhaps 'move'my articles fro there to Buska!

I have a few on Helium as well, and I am considering moving them. I have never been very active at any of these sites, but I am impressed by those of you who are. I should be able to do something at any one of them. It is just a matter of choosing which one.

I am glad to be reading this discussion. I have often wondered which site I should be active with, and I see all kinds of contradictory information. I have not really written much for any place in a long time, but I would like to.

Hi Mandy! I see you have got good advice from UniNoor about Triond, Buksia and Helium. I am with all three sites and I always publish first at Triond as they only accept articles that are original and haven't been published elsewhere.
Just make sure you use the same pen name on all three sites.
There are a lot of interesting discussions going on with MyLotters at the moment about these three sites, as the changes are causing quite a stir amongst those who write for them; I am following all these discussions closely, (I'm sure a lot of other writers are too), to get more insight, as I am thinking of dropping Buksia at this moment in time.

I think I'll stick with Helium for a bit then.
With this new Market Place only for bonuses the articles don't have to be on any other site anyway.

Hi there mandywilks,
Triond only accepts articles that are original and haven't been published elsewhere. Bukisa and Helium allow you to republish your articles as long as you own copyrights to the articles.
Make sure you use the same pen name on all sites and the same avatar as well. Using the same avatar would definitely help you to prove that the articles are yours and would also help in branding you.
Publish on Triond first then republish your articles on Bukisa and Helium. That is what most writers do to earn as much as they can from each article they've written.
But I must warn you. Republished articles may do as well as originals.

I am glad you posted this discussion--I have just signed up on Triond, and have several articles published there, and was wondering if I should get involved in Bukisa, Helium, or other sites. I was going to try Bukisa next, but with all of their changes, I am not sure it is worth it.

I have a couple on Triond, as I'm new. I like the policies and pay ok. I also just started on reviewstream. I've done 3 articles, but I'm getting paid for them in bulk rate right now. That's fine. It's like going to classes until I get better, and I will. I'm just thrilled they've accepted all 3 articles. Same with Triond.
