Do you know any other movie that is kinda like "Little Miss Sunshine"? You know, something very funny and very serious at the same time, but is presented in a story that is very easy to understand.

I'd recommend the films of Wes Anderson. He has a lot of strange, but interesting characters, like the movie Little Miss Sunshine has. Most of his movies are also darkly humorous. Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums and The Life Aquatic are especially good. Another movie with a similar sort of feel is Me and You and Everyone We Know.

I like Forrest Gup and Castaway too. Not so much the american beauty. it is too serious.

I'd also stuff like Rocket Science, Thumbsucker, The Darjeeling Limited, and Girl Interrupted is more serious but is also funny. I have to agree Wes Anderson makes a lot of these types of films.
